We’ve gone from the Top Midlands Club from 2015 to 2022 to joint 10th Midlands club in 4 seasons. I’m including Lincoln City in that group. Shows the terrible decline in the last 4 seasons under the current leadership.

The planning for next season begins…. after 3 games at the end of August. Out of the League Cup by then. Relying on Andy King to take first team charge with the usual back room failures from the past. The board diligently draws up a list of potential long term candidates with Messrs. Martin and Potter featuring high on the candidate list to lead this club forward playing the style of football suitable to the chairman in a 4-2-3-1 formation. Wouldn’t be surprised if true.

Yes I believe he had a very bad accident. I seem to remember he played in the 4-4 draw in the Prem at Villa Park, before we got relegated. Exactly the type of tough and skilful player we needed last season.

Rowett is a one club in the bag golfer. He’s played a nice comfortable 7 iron from tee to green. And he’s wondering why he’s not got a decent return. Played the same older serial failures in every game, same formation, same terrible performances and yet they’re undroppable. He keeps playing Perreira, Mavadidi, Winks. Doesn’t make changes to influence a game and then makes excuses. Terrible manager with a shocking win record. .

Time for the first goal against anyone? 4 minutes for me followed by 11 minutes then 32 minutes. 3-0 down at half time. Pompey make a few changes then Rowett moves after 70 minutes. We’re completely goosed!

I’ve not heard that this season. I may be wrong because I’ve seen 5 home defeats in my attendance (Blackburn, Oxford, Charlton, Norwich and QPR). The crowd have been very quiet, almost numb with a few shouts at the players and groans to sideways and backwards. Don’t worry I won’t go now to attend agai.

That’s the start but it’s like asking the King to hand his crown and his train set over to someone else. Might need a Russian Revolution style change from the people/supporters but based on the general apathy to these well intentioned protests it needs some real togetherness.
