Downgraded my super 6 score from 8 to 5. We are so back.

Almost like getting an experienced manager in gives teams a bit of know how on what’s needed to stay up.

The last point still stands. They have gone from relying on Mahrez, Sterling, Sane to Savinho, Doku and Grealish. No wonder they look shit.

I keep seeing a number 26 out wide and expecting some Mahrez esque through ball/control/wip into the top corner and he’s more likely to trip over the ball. How has Pep let the quality drop that far.

If we are near the bottom, it’s not going to go to goal difference is it. Plus, an out of form Man City will have a detrimental impact on our GD.

There is only really 1 of them outcomes having an impact on us, and it isn’t Man City hitting form.

He didn’t see him at all. The replay on MOTD2 showed Ayew look at him and let him wander past him without saying anything, JJ doesn’t look over his shoulder at any point.

That’s probably where I am with this. Our defence is that much of a problem that he seems about the best option.

We had faced something like 77 shots in the 3 matches prior to this… absolutely screamed for us to pick the guy that can’t save the ball but can play a 5 yard pass over the guy that can make saves but can’t pass IMO.

It really does make perfect sense doesn’t it, get relegated but do it playing the right way. Can’t argue with it you really can’t.

Anyone who has forgotten that Iverson significantly improved us when we got relegated (despite also being quite shit) needs sectioning. No hope for you if you truly believe Ward was the best option yesterday.
