Recon I’m all out of emotion for the season anyway but the no food/drink for a year might not be ideal.

I’d be well up for sitting it out and starting in the Championship again in 12 months.

Ive told this story before and every time I think about it I can’t stop laughing. Drove through the KFC drive through with a car full of mates, ordered my food. Got to the collection window and the woman says “oh, I thought I knew you” I was a bit confused as I didn’t and she asked me to park up to wait for my food. I parked up in this bay and it became apparent why she asked, someone next to me had the same car in the same colour. Anyway, food comes out and we have the wrong food so we send my mate back in to sort it. He marches in pissed off, and then quickly marches out looking fuming, walks past my car, flings open the drivers side door on this identical car and shouts “give me the ****ing receipt you pricks”. The poor guy in the other car absolutely shit himself, my mate shit himself and jumped back in my car. Honestly one of the funniest things I’ve ever witnessed.

Having to bite my tongue on a few points he’s posted but some thoroughly bizarre and contradictory takes are being said across threads. I get the protecting the club on some points but **** me how much do people need to see to criticise.

Ok I do apologise, we are a really well run club and there is no evidence to suggest otherwise.

Clubs speak to players and agents before clubs make agreements, that’s a fact. Regardless of any of this, for nobody in our club to have previously had any kind of knowledge as to how players are paid in Turkey and the tax implications of this in the UK is pretty astonishing and if it’s true (which let’s be honest, non of us do but the evidence is quickly coming together) then it’s further fuel to the fire on how poorly we are currently run.

Surely our inability to get players in for the start of the season is very linked to how long it takes to sign players.

Not really, all have come from a variety of sources tbh.

I’ve got all sorts of City stuff including about 70 match worn shirts. Favourites- 3/4 Vardy/Schmeichel shirts, 1979 Umbro match worn shirt as well as a few Admiral ones from the 80s.

Moved to Italy for 5 months about 8 years ago which was an experience being as I speak about 5 words of Italian. Culturally I remember there being a much bigger sense of community with many small villages having excellent facilities. Renting a house over there is an experience as well as they expect you to have your own kitchen (yes, worktops, units etc etc) and one was even asking us to plaster the walls. Lost our £1000 deposit as we hadn’t painted every wall in a basic white paint which just felt like an excuse to rip us off. Its a lovely country to holiday in but very different to live there.
