  1. Absolutely not, but I guess the point I’m making is that under 21s international football is very different to the task we have at hand and the very limited experience he had in the men’s game really didn’t go very well at all. Id probably prefer him to Dyche generally, but im not sure we can afford to take such a gamble at the minute.
  2. England lost at home to Greece under Carsley playing without a recognised striker.
  3. Someone’s put about £2 on it for that change.
  4. Points taken off for the blatant copy and paste job given away by the font.
  5. What did you do to him at the airport?
  6. I doubt they would have time. I’d imagine they will look to do this very quickly if this is how they plan to raise money.
  7. It’s quite a short term agreeement isnt it, that’s all I can say. You would imagine this means they are in the market to sell us, where else are they raising cash from?
  8. Makes you wonder what they are planning to sell during the 8 months to be able to pay it back… I suspect it’s not Larb sticks.

  10. We’ve probably used the Thai calendar and just breached PSR by sacking 5 days early.
  11. Sheff Wednesday
  12. Yep, and I think he’s smart enough to turn us down for them reasons. I can’t see that working out too well for him and he deserves better than for us to ruin his managerial career before it’s started.
  13. Probably the most ridiculous thought I’ve had, which probably means it’s accurate. How likely do you think our owners are to take Rohl away from another Thai owned club? Our decision making is that bad that I genuinely think we wouldn’t want to make another Thai owner look any worse, and there could be external pressure on that.
  14. Just ran 7 miles which is the longest I’ve ran in about 9 months. Pretty grim in all fairness, hotter than I expected!
  15. Yeah this is the problem, one bad tackle or a dodgy twist and it’s game over.
  16. Oh yeah I remember my shoulders ****ing killing me last time I did it
  17. Thanks. I will never do a long run after leg day for that very reason. Probably made a mistake in my plan by still including an upper body day in the gym each week as I considered it as a rest for my legs. Out of interest, how many miles a week would you recommend for a marathon? I’ve written my plan stating at 12 and finishing at 28 the week before.
  18. Cheers, when I trained for the Leicester half I was playing football twice a week, in the gym 2/3 days and running the other 2 with 1 day off and inevitably I was pretty injured at times. Ill check that plan out, I’ve been writing my own one starting at 7 miles and getting up to 20 with only running 2/3 days a week and alternating weeks of 5 a side and will see how that goes. Just writing it has made me realise I really can’t be ****ed
  19. Looking for a bit of advice. Im doing a marathon in 17 weeks. I currently play football every Tuesday and go to the gym about 3x a week plus the odd run. Im hoping I can still play football, so at least 1 leg day a week and train for the marathon. How doable do you think that is? Does anyone know anyone who would be able to give me advice/write a plan to do this without injuring myself? Cheers
  20. Scuppered themselves by mismanaging funds, but saved themselves in the short/medium term by selling the woman’s team. We scuppered ourselves on both fronts. If the men’s team are haemorrhaging funds and plummeting down the leagues, I very much doubt the woman’s team is going to be at the top competing for trophies to the point where selling them would have been a bad idea.
  21. Normal for a relegation really.
  22. The gold one is alright IMO.
  23. The one next to it is comfortably worse. and this years graffiti abomination probably trumps the lot.
