It was the most cretinous appt of a manager without any foundation of is ability or any track record. At best you would give him a contract for the season to try and keep us up but anything longer is pure negligence especially after the Rodgers debacle. We could still be in with a shout of survival with someone else in charge as Wolves are still in touching distance but it’s now game truly over and we are down with a clueless and rudderless Rude. The fact we haven’t even scored a goal for months is criminal and it does beg the question where would we have been if we had kept Cooper. That we will never know

I think it’s rational with RVN at the helm which is how I see it. A strong squad is meaningless unless you have a Manager that can compete and win games and it won’t happen with him. It depends on who replaces him and even then it’s a lottery to get out the Championship so I don’t see it ever happening in the next 5 - 10 years. We had a better chance had Cooper remained but hindsight is a wonderful thing. I hope I’m wrong but all I can see is mid table mediocrity for the seasons ahead.

This is a results business and I doubt RVN will get another win for the rest of the season and maybe the odd draw. He is not a Premiership Manager or is there any evidence he should be a manager and has absolutely no experience. Disagree RVN will achieve nothing at this club and his record is truly appalling. In any other situation he would be dismissed by now. He has zero experience as a manager and would be lucky to be managing a League 2 side. If he remains after relegation we will plummet down the championship into obscurity.

RVN is not a Maresca type manager…..he is an ex player who is a novice manager and should be plying his trade in the lower leagues to build a reputation. He should never be here and the sooner he’s gone the better. He won’t do anything in the Chamoionship

Cooper would probably have done better than RVN has since he took over. Renember he had us scoring goals even though he seemed clueless. The annoying thing is that the right manager may have had a chance of keeping us up as we are still only 2 pts adrift but with RVN we are doomed and he is of 2nd Division standard management at best
