Will do. But the email contained 367 words, so apologies in advance if you sit near the back of the East Stand as your view might be blocked

As in the Official Brendan Excuse ?

This didn't bounce back, so would appear to be the correct address. Thanks @happyfox

does anyone know her email address? It's not [email protected], as that just bounced back. For the first time in my years I have felt the need to write to the Club, not in the form of a rant (I hope), but urging them to communicate openly and honestly with its key stakeholders (eg us) as at the moment the Club's silence borders on diffidence in my opinion. Thanks in advance

You may have answered your own question there to be honest

Well we do have lots of injuries, and we've only made one signing in the last 18 months. And I think the majority of supporters feel that the likes of Perez, Vestergaard, Praet, Soumare and others are not good enough. I know he was involved in many of those signings, but he does have a point. If we really can't make any signings, when has gone on the record to say we can, we really do have a significant management issue. It's not helped by the fact that the Club remains silent on everything. That's all well and good when things are going well, but it's not so clever when things are going not so well

Fulham (H) | 03/01/23 | Post-Match Thread

Is it the whole sanitisation of the match experience do you think? The overly loud pre-match music. The instructions on when and how to wave the honesty flags. The whole thing just feels dismal. Mind you tonight's loss means from the beginning of 2022 my Prem Record is played 17, won 2. I've pretty much lost the feeling of seeing a win. There was a moment tonight when the crowd at the Kop End got really arsey about something, and Vardy actually did a mad chase to close down one of their full backs, like he really meant it. For me most of the players simply aren't trying hard enough. Jogging around when they lose the ball, precious little intensity, about perhaps from Youri who worked his backside off. Deeply miserable. I've left two games early this season (Brighton away, Newcastle home) and I reckon I've only done that once in the previous 50 years (A cold, wet afternoon in Portsmouth!) -

I did do this for a game earlier in the season, and it didn't work. I may well have been doing something wrong. Have you done this successfully? If you could describe how do it in baby steps I would really appreciate it. Me and my mate, both in our 50s and I'd like to think reasonably tech-savvy (although perhaps not!) have really struggled with it -

Thanks for your sympathetic reply. It's a mobile ticket. How would my mate send me a QR code? I assume by your user name you were born in 1990, thus 32 years old, and much more tech savvy than this 56 year old. I've assumed that you can't 'swap' mobile tickets. Have you done this successfully, as I would like to learn how to do it? -

the utter nonsense of trying to reallocate my mate's season ticket so I can take a family member with me for this game is insane (we're both season ticket holders, he can't go on Boxing Day, so I'm trying to have his ST reallocated to a family member). You have to ring the ticket office, which seems almost impossible to access, with all sorts of details, and then pay a fiver for the privilege. Bring back the sodding plastic cards -

We are only a going concern thanks to the ECB. It may get plenty wrong, but without it we would have gone bust years ago -

It's bonkers. I was working in Munich this week and managed to get a seat to watch Bayern vs Werder Bremen on Tuesday. 70,000 at the Allianz Arena. Excellent atmosphere. Bremen fans in their section noisy all the way through. Bremen fans in the 'home seats' able to celebrate their goal without any aggro. You can enjoy a beer at your seat. Reckon I saw about 10 Polizei. 8C79ED6C-F938-4E24-81F7-F9F809A9380E.heic -
For all the misery of the last few weeks and months I'm thoroughly looking forward to Saturday. I know we'll most likely get a hiding, but we've actually won two on the bounce, and we know we can score goals. Vardy to start, be a total pain and wind as any of them up as possible, and see how we go. I'm hoping my new found optimism lasts beyond around 12.44

He makes me giggle, which is always welcome. Mrs Brown's Boys is the most dreadful show in the world. Lee Evans makes me cringe. I do however shop in Morrisons. -

No, absolutely not. I've posted about how I felt this was a disappointing end to the game. No rules were broken. India won the series fair and square. Hermanpreet Kaur is outstanding, and Smriti Mandhana is a fabulous batter (she and England's Alice Capsey time the ball like a dream). India supporters at Lords yesterday were wonderful. It was a glorious atmosphere. But I still think it was disappointing end to finish a game, regardless of whether it was involving an Indian, An Aussie, an English(wo)man or someone from the local under 15s. -

Agreed. He is one player who can hold his head up high frankly. I presume on the bowling front the following are leaving, although there has been nothing from the Club: Sakande Evans A Griffiths Davis (not sure if his contract is up this year) So the current bowling group is Ahmed and Parkinson (excellent!), Scriven, Walker, Finan, Wright, Barnes. Have I missed anyone? -

The ECB basically pays for Leicestershire. Our income level sits at around £4.2 million per year. About three quarters of that is a grant from the ECB. Well over £3 million. And the vast amount of ECB income comes from Sky. There simply isn't the interest in County Cricket beyond fanatics like us, even then I rarely go and watch LCCC live, even though I have a season ticket at LCFC. Frankly reducing the number of County games from 14 to 10 makes sense to me. Typically there are more stewards and staff than spectators at a day's play of County Cricket at Grace Road. Yes we do need a competitive County structure to make England successful, but the likes of Jonny Bairstow and Ollie Pope don't really improve their skills playing County Cricket. They're too good for it. County cricket does need to be more competitive. -

This is the third day of a County game and right now it could be argued we are on top. Let's enjoy the moment. It's rather like City recording a clean sheet. -

Fair play thus far to Finan. When we signed him I felt his lack of record made him a highly dubious leap of faith, but seems like he's learning quickly. Hope that vote of confidence doesn't jinx him! -
Presumably that is Top - otherwise anyone else is lower in the chain of command.

I fear since the departure of Huth, Big Wes and now Kasper we have no leaders. Jonny is softly spoken. Vards is not a leader. The rest are just kids to be honest. Arguably the player with the most leadership potential is Maddy. He's the one who fronts up to the media and seems to have some character and intelligence. He is also a brilliant player. I'd make him captain and hope that the responsibility is the making of him. Let's hope Wout has some leadership potential too
