This reminds me a little of Taylor. Takes over a decent squad, initially gets done decent results but the more time he spends with the players and gets his style across the worse we get. Granted he hasn't had much opportunity to bring his own in, but IMO a good manager gets the best out of the tools he has at his disposal, and we have been aweful home and away for some time now and he has almost totally nullified our strengths. I see no real green shoots to cling too, and like others have said, if we take this form and style into next season, then it's a relagation battle and starting again with another manager part way through a season. If I could see any positive improvement under him I would say, yes, give him chance to bring his own players in, but I genuinely don't think he can motivate players as we consistently have to concede first to start even having a go. He's s dull man, who produces dull teams and that's isn't what I expect for my season ticket money.

We play one up front so we are fine with Vardy, Nacho and Shinji, plus Gray who can play that role as emergency. Think we are fine in midfield too, the new French lad or Silva can take Mahrez place if he goes. Wouldn't be surprised to see Ben Arfa come in though, or someone similarly creative.

A Barca second string defence in a friendly, means nothing. If we cant offload him get him out on loan to achampionship team to see if he can even cut it at that level, although i have my doubts to be honest.

By playing, gaining form and hopefully getting a few goals, like Tom Lawrence. Hes unlikley to get that time at City in the short term.

Bit more to football than just running fast though isnt there. In all honesty at the minute he isnt even as good as Trevor Benjamen.... Clearly well out his depth at the minute, id get him out on loan to the championship to toughen up a bit and see if hes even good enough at that level?

In all honesty he's looked very much lower league, despite people getting carried away over his 'champions league' experience. That said, he's young but struggling, so I'd give him preseason and look at getting him out on loan like Lawrance to a championship club to toughen him up a bit.
