We’re showing fight.
-
Why didn’t Mavididi take on his man?!
-
What is it with these referees? KDH pushed aggressively to the floor not given. Vesty defends, doesn’t foul and given. Oh bollocks! Goal.
-
Also shooting not the best option at all. Pass it to Vardy!
-
How can you shoot that badly from there Yunus?!
-
Vestergaard is highly experienced and better, no?

This is a personal values problem. Also, what a stupid thing to do. My dad’s first bit of proper advice to me when I was 12 was, “Don’t shit on your own doorstep”.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
An Away Move replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Not playing in this system. He’s one of our most important players. -
I think we are one KDH sale away from complying with FFP under EPL rules. As far as the EFL are concerned if we go up they cannot sanction us. Am I right? If so this is a lot of noise over nothing. We have tightened our belts when Everton and Forest did not, which arguably cost us relegation. We’ve been sailing close to the wind, but this Summer we should have more freedom to operate as a lot of wages will be off the books. The only massively concerning thing is if we don’t go up. It really is shit or bust re: promotion now.

Think we might be overreacting to this news. It should come as no surprise that we should break EFL rules based on a projection of where this year’s figures are going to end up combined with the last 2-3 years worth of figures in the Premier League. The latter allows £20m more headroom of debt to account with, which disappears if we don’t get promoted in one season. In short this is a nothing story unless we fail to get out of this league. I suspect we will comply with EPL legislation too. We’ve just been sailing close to the wind.

One of the things that has always alarmed me about our owners is that they like to gamble. I think we did exactly that when we tried to break into the Champion League with wages to turnover ratio. It works when you qualify for Europe but the moment you don’t you end up with a bloated, demotivated squad on massive wages who won’t agree to being sold so run down their contracts. It must be very difficult to avoid this fate when you’re a smaller club trying to disrupt the rich six or seven. I expect Brighton, Villa and Newcastle to struggle with this too.

I saw a comedy sketch recently - can’t remember who, but he was giving it to away fans who take the piss out of quiet home fans. He said it was the job of away fans to provide the noise, whilst he sat there enjoying the football in silence.
-
Something of a bogey team for us too.
-
The lad we got from Villa looked like he could do a job when we’re spread this thin. We should use him more. That said, hopefully N’Didi can get a run together now.
-
How much of it might be tiredness, do you think?

Ranieri

Yes. But our style is not conducive to getting out your chair and screaming with passion - effective as it is. Ipswich are more exciting.
-
It’s not luck if they keep doing it. Took points off us in both games doing the same. Done to others too. If they go up as champions they’d deserve it. Lost fewer than anyone else.
-
I told you so. Even after the penalty miss. Polar opposite of us right now.

If he’d have made less of it it would have been given. -
Ipswich are the polar opposite of us at the moment. They score late to win games. Fully expecting them to do the same shortly.

3 precious points. But boy did we ride our luck. Especially with the ‘pen’ not given.
