  1. No dispute, & last sentence really is my point..
  2. Ah, but you can't see if there is a double yoke.. TO BE Fair, I just wanted to feel how various fans were thinking and deep thoughts on the present situation feelings to coupled ambition or Aspirations.. Happy to see nobody is expecting a walk in the park I reckon 99.9% are well balanced posts..
  3. Every single player have their lapses, it's a good player management to put it out there... GIVES Faes an early season target, plus don't lets be thinking our top PL players are perfect.. IT'S About getting that last piece of in Faes case concentration... But not expecting a 100% perfect transition, he will hopefully then up his weak area a little more.. Good conversation piece from managers trying to tweak, various areas in his charges.. Nobody should be so vain,fans/manager that they expect perfect 10s.. Sport management whyles, that's all, but still important, to squeeze that last piece out of that player.. Nothing less than the players accept themselves.. "Push me to where I don't know how far I can go". Faes is not a worse player because of it.. 3 games ago (note) his concentration slips and he slips in the last 1/3 of the pitch.. Enzo waited until now, not immediately after the game. Also a good explanation from Enzo to describe Doyle & Faes individual needs. ONE Older.. One younger.. Indirect also challenging Doyle to keep him on his high level.. BUT Doyle has other weaknesses, that at the moment are not appropriate to hang out on the washing line..
  4. Ah.. MY bad on tip failure.. But what's a point slip between friends
  5. Dear sir.. The audacity of it all, I have never been the right way round.. Once a New Parkser always that lopsided look at life..
  6. OH dear, what a lost and poor soul I must be..
  7. That's why I put the question out, I thinks even now, because of us making a clean new plate, we have space on the table to move from that horrific 14 sec. preparation, to a build & prepare even this early in this season. This is being shrewd and seeing those 3 teams struggles. One is simply straight forward, don't rely heavily on departing loanees. Internally( not fans) let it be known first what fund "targets" are realistic available for LCFC.
  8. Your right.. We can all fall in love with our promotion squad/team.. investment but without destroying the squad character & ethos we ( Enzo) wants to carry push forward.. I do believe his chosen players.. Winks, Fatawu, Mavididi, KDH, Justin,Cannon, maybe even a matured Casadei, Agun & Doyle tweaked from their loan.. Then.. Mcateer, Alves, Braybrooke, others from academy, could hold us in good stead. BUT again & again that chasm seems to be getting wider, so solid, & shrewd not blind investment a must without those Shannagans of past 4-5 seasons. Getting promoted on a hope n a prayer days have now unfortunately gone, Before EOS some names should of already been closed as deals done for next season.. Even Doyle & Casadei could be extended loans, youth being on their & our side. But decisions made for later in the season, but on actual moment's-agenda.
  9. Maybe Enzo being still young, would want a 5-6 yr stint, being allowed space to build on his own Aspirations and rubber stamping his name, and not just being pinged around top clubs, leaving with no legacy.. Eg: at present Pochettino career, against Simeone's Step in for PEp or Klopp, you wear others shoes...
  10. First a game to ease us in.. Then why not a Brentford, Palace.. then a Villa, Brighton, an easy quarter final against Everton, then Spurs, building upto either Newcastle or L'pool.. Sorted.. That should test us for next seasons title challenge...
  11. I thought that was normal practice on GameDay..
  12. These vegans are the worse hiding among their patches, bloody old quiet Rockers at heart.. I Know I bloody married one.. Though she preferred Rod Stewart, Moody blues, cat Steven's & the Dubliners I have that hot & cold feeling she was the original Lucy in the sky of diamonds, she scares the fk out of me, but I love her..
  13. Too right.. but stop & think.. Only bloody 33yrs of age, and not really started life.. Often easily, conveniently forgotten with "no matter shrugs" .. Danny Drink water's leicester city Era, was probably in our history, the most important from a 2012-2017 cut out, a 3yr peak that saw the best ever midfielder "legend"? to wear our shirt that changed our club's history. AND again only 33. If he had had that bit of fortune cookies luck, after trying his fortunes elsewhere, and not carrying the inner demons so long, returning he could of graced this seasons squad along with Winks.. @Babylon a lot of your own favourite midfielders have matched mine..I don't know if I ever liked him, but when he put on the foxes badge, I can't think of many past greats that for us burst the doors open, But Danny with Kate & King brought that... Real Jn'est ce'st quoi, to our power & play.. From Promotion to the last remnants of his good moments in his last playing season for LCFC. I too sometimes fall into that trap of letting DD memories fall on stoney ground.
  14. With my best Welsh accent.. Are you in the hill sides, in South Wales man... or prancing around city night life in Beddins music pub now..??
  15. Sort of old Clapham junction scenerio, nothing coming in nothing going out.. Though I tip an high scoring game, with both sides scoring.. 3-2..4-3 falling either way.. In this seasons game turn around we have been both unfortunate as well as fortunate, that early & late chances haven't yet found the back of the net... It's with this type of Leeds opponent, at this time of the season, on a Friday night.. that there is going to be something extraordinary on the cards.. .. CARDS, yellow & red will fall, penalties are predestined.. THE Stars are aligned, a witches Brew, still on the fire despite after Halloween.. Who will be solving or pinching the last trick or treat..
  16. 2 old mates, of the mature kind, reliving their youth together, trying to find a pub for a replay.. Rushing around like kids!! That would of been impossible to even do in our youth.. No late pubs, very rare to get a replay on a TV in a fking pub.. Nalis was not really of our fan generation,60s-70s our theme but coupled with Izzets last throws of the dice, Nalis audacity, going home the very next day, goodbye to a life's best mate and my Son then being interested & crazy as is Papa, hoping to get the games replay.. It was also Sept. An another.. again new beginning for the foxes.. My son is not so fanatical, my wife says one crazy in the family is enough..
  17. Like it.. Some good points.. Though in finding someone like Enzo, doesnt that change the dynamic on a few things... Surely just on new system ideology or thoughts.. Replacements 1 on 1 doesn't crop up. Though need for better conversion rates do.. . Though your last paragraph is/are simular to the ways I am thinking at present. Upon rekindling, ex struggling players careers, that is the challenge and for me wrong to write off players with previous struggles, especially when dominating factor(s) fell into manager tactics or weaknesses rubric.. A lot did lay at Rodgers door... PLAYERS like KDH, even Ndidi will have a natural growth & progress.. Just look at Winks. We should as fans or in life, not forget those natural developing while maturing phases.. AND yes as I mentioned, Burnley have been a couple of times there before, this time with a new well placed considered manager for the challenge. AND here is proof to Motty, that discussion is not premature..
  18. Read..!! AND TAKE PART, you miserable Motty.. I am asking the question cos, I might not get to see, well timed ideas or responses... AND I see fit to ask the questions now, because I like premature debate, being put on the table.. TO ilk out those deep thoughts the fans already have, simply because others have mentioned/discussed/opened up, indirectly... in other posts. AND look at the question again.. and possible or potential implications, For promoted sides..from to any of the 4 leagues.. Go on, be a nice guy, and see if you can spot the various challenges, that will become for some clubs impossible to even compete in old traditional ways. Win a goldfish if you dare..
  19. Yes I do think he's a top driver.. But I don't like, since before Schumacher days.. It's 70-75% car! At least around those years, bloody cars were unreliable, allowing 2-4 other drivers to steal the limelight now and again.. We could cover over a 5 year period, and 3 of the best ever racers, Alonso, Hamilton, Verstappen, have not had one period where they have competed against each other..Also Other potentials not had a chance to throw their tupenny worth in.
  20. They are a very average top 10-12 team. Shame on the passing of Charlton, they are having a shit 2 seasons. FOR A club their caliber.. TOTAL Lack of cohesion. Love to see Rashford move on, too good a player & person for this rabble.. Like Arsenal you love to hate them.. But normally, they have been good representatives of our game... NOT THIS Manutd... I think ( could be wrong) Chelsea will redeem themselves.. Jesus it must be bad, I prefer Arsenal, & A. Villa than these 2..would even like to see Spurs have a top 2 season.
  21. For me,it’s been amazing, after such a short time both he & Mavidid, have been taken into the hearts of the terraces AND FT forum.. Its like back in my old days,we were easily ready to trust, our wingers if not always perfect, but give us each game a few momentoes of their magic. It’s not just blind head down ,run & dribble, cross to where no one, will ever be..( mishits excepted) They go that step further and will run across the channels not just through/down them… Importantly..so far, they are actually seriously good dribblers, All wingers that have ever been, have to work on that delivery, Albrighton,is still one of the best crossers…Doesn’t matter,it’s the pressure they put on oppos Backline, plus I don’t think we can be disappointed in their defending skills, will to give all to get back..& both have pace that deceives. Fatawu is willing to lean to a cheeky piece of play, alone or with teammate, both have good imagination… If there is any wonder, again from both..ONLY 13 games, and not all full games, the other side of Xmas,we are going to see the those real special games & moments from them.. PL…there will be an Henderson,Rice, FB,that will be waiting to attempt to take them out…Nothing wrong in that, but can they ride it,like a Ronaldo would.. If anything,in any of our short past doubtful games ,these 2 throw down some interesting crowd pleasing moments, and goal threats better in a different way to Nacho,/ Vardy..
  22. I was a couple of days back in the city, met up with an old „best mate“ arranged to go to the game..Behind the goal when Nalis struck… Rushed to a pub,to get some type of replay, after the match… I can’t remember where it was,but we barged in asked the barman if he could try and see if any of the News programmes might have it…My friend at least knew the right channel it would be most likely on..About half an hour later,it came up, 3-4 replays… I got home..( Germany) seen it 10 times with my son & daughter, the next day.
  23. 2022/23 season Championship.. Won……….Dr………lost…….pts 1.. Burnley…. 29. 14. 3. 101 2…Sheff.utd. 28. 7. 11. 91 3.. Luton. 21. 17. 8. 80… 2023/24 season PL..10 games. 18..Luton. 1. 2. 7. 5 19..Burnley. 1. 1 8. 4. 20. sheff.utd 0. 1. 9. 1 Burnley at least seemed to be coming up with a decent recent history. Lost only 3 games, Considered strong manager. Put what other twists on the other 2..but Sheffield were considered that after some investment, they could hold their own,in Bottom half.. # When do we consider right time to plan for PL-player-investment # would Mcateer,Fasanwu,Mavididi,Braybrooke,Alves,Cannon,Winks,Justin,Faes be the considered remainers, with xx experienced player investment, enough quality to avoid a depressing start ## can our rebuild plus an evolving Enzo-system,be enough to hold us in good stead for a consolidating, 14-10 league position, even a small pleasant suprise ## It’s far too early to consider anything, let’s just enjoy the ride.. ## We have faced L’pool twice, with our new aspiring ideas…Can we compete next season and make 3rd time lucky.. ## Are you desperate for Enzo to stay & carry his ideology further with Leicester.. +++Normally I wouldn’t start such a topic…but some of you know my predicament, 1-4yrs…?? Awhile back. I am really interested mostly what some of the younger generations take is, plus obviously the healthier older generation… ## Is this a good platform for a new ,better era, than we have experienced in the short or any of our past, ## do you think we can handle the coming challenge better than the 3 teams above. ## Is this the way to pick up from where we left off,to again have an irritating LCFC actually worrying the big boys…Maybe that ship has sailed..?? ## Or are Spurs, & Newcastle, A.Villa now the only realistic clubs, that can compete for a covetted top 6 placing.
  24. yep n International break over,only a week ago… 37 + Fa cup games to go…..We are fked.
