  1. I reckon ,your a prime example,of proving how to use the negative towards a player, and then keep gnawing the same bone. ffs all players go up & down since they put pigs bladder,in a leather pocket.. I suggest many on here, should relax more & enjoy the game and not over analyse, ever damn error & mistake a player makes… Justin’s alround play is one thing I don’t worry about & yes IMO all players deserve the right to be seen doing the right things, So far he has had like all players some bad moments..So fking what… I noticed/observed over 20yrs real poor moments ,humdingers of mistakes from Messi ,Ronaldo and other greats,it’s not these moment that make the player.. Justin been part of the assist chain, where at the end we scored…Being a FB,he will often also be involved in “daring to allow” the opposition to score… so fking what.. Shit happens. Creating a case that doesn’t exsist,is a too weird a past time IMO, This forum,( maybe other forums), it’s todays genre,to follow and see more the negative than the positive… We have all become like the diva Theater critics, and want a piece of that pie..S.media platforms have let loose a ratty group of know alls, who love nothing more than pull everybody down, and all participants /players are easy targets for the same topic of repetative negative weekly vibes…And will never be good enough to present their various level of skills or the whole package of what they are…
  2. In respect to all these last 20 posts.. Your missing a good bunch of points, especially on the players.. No matter what players he selects.. # 1st the system takes priority, no matter what, though has he learns he will tweak certain things and areas # He will give players certain game plans, and has mentioned even passing back when in attacking areas. # He as mentioned in the past, he will give most of his player fixed areas, even way of playing for a GameDay, that they might not given for the next # He has dropped in enough times, the season is long, the system is what is paramount, but Players, and he and coaches are still learning.. Some fans don't buy into the whole concept Some will say well done, they are happy with the system & will be patient with teething problems & set backs. Ohers will post, Yeh understand everything, BUT. suggest the individual players should, do more or not capable of holding their position, but forget they will be under orders of holding shape within the system.. I don't believe any of us know how the system will developed or evolve, but one thing is sure Enzo will follow it through, and his ideas of plan A, B or C, do not follow the same logic has probably ALL fans in their diverse thoughts. It's hard for all fans, but I said a few months ago, this is where patience is needed, and the season long, it could just be a time to hold our clapper and put opinions on everything playing wise,on hold in these unique times..... The whole long season, even with reverses or periods of indifferent form. It's When we the fans just have to stick.. Say and agree "in the manager ( Enzo) his system we trust... No questions..!!" It's for us fans a complete new concept and approach, we have to buy into, then sit tight, enjoy, embrace also occasionally wince..
  3. Gud on ya socceroo son A foxeroo climbs high to score in his 7-0 rout of Bangladesh
  4. Probably put the name, instead of He, in a Fatawu topic..
  5. They haven t told you The truth... always those Secrets wife.brother, and bestmates have..
  6. I prefer to believe Yes having or in that poor "strike" & "ghost" form.he has shown throughput bis career. I don t believe he is disinterested,or thinking about greenerfields Nacho is Nacho...he s like your Mrs/ or bestmate, ...Headaches or dont turn up,just when you. might Need them to Smooth out "your" present problems. Then other times come through..
  7. Why start with a ( our own) 19 year old so negative.. opinion or not...Quite weird putting One of your One players down so Early in his career... FT tends to have an Assembly Line of quite a few of you gentleman..who put down players like Lineker, Vardy,Justin,Schlupp,Chilwell,Lennon, A.Smith ,Plus others who make strong Profi-careers...I Assembly-line Maintenance doesn't seem upto scratch
  8. Due to illness I haven’t been to Dortmund for 3 +yrs. Can be a long time, for old & new haunts. Though good atmosphere and drinking holes around the ground. Depending on BvB,and Dortmund set up for game days, one wouldn’t have to travel too far for a good North Rhine Westphalian German night out…& atmosphere kreuzviertel, would cover your thirst and stomach needs…Any of the watering holes,or a good crawl..whether staying around the stadium or crawling around the Alter Markt. The nachtexpress ( night bus) could take you to your chosen digs. whiling away any extra day ,it has to be the German Football museum, then a round in the Brewery Museum.. Strobels grill tisch,is a nice experience..grill on your own table'even along the bar. I expect euro24,they will have some big music nights. Bookings necessary,no idea..they often have first come approach..
  9. Got my tickets and accommodation…Watch all games live on terrasteral tv and go to my own bed…
  10. Hella of a career..& competed against the best and won big battles.. This last W.cup we lost the scrums, when he went off.. Dan Cole says his performance in England's World Cup exit against South Africa was a lesson in redemption. The 36-year-old prop played a lead role in the pack's fierce semi-final performance against a side that almost ended his international career. After his display against the Springboks in 2019 final, he failed to again play for Eddie Jones. "It's a lesson you try teach your kids - don't give up, don't give up and don't give up," Cole said. "Hopefully when I'm old, or older, I can tell the boys that 'yeah, keep going and keeping going, go though all the stuff, the outside noise, and eventually things may come right. "There was probably a special moment of reflection, I think, for myself, Jamie George, [Joe] Marler, those kind of guys that had been through it four years ago. "Four years ago we weren't as bad as we performed. "This time around we had a bit more parity and it was something that in future I will look back on with more pride because yes, that ability to turn things around. "I would happily have taken a bad performance individually for a victory, but that wasn't the case." Listen to the Tigers Rugby Show on BBC Radio Leicester Leicester Tigers prop Cole went more than three years without playing for England after their final defeat in Japan, with his recall to the national side only coming after Jones was sacked. Steve Borthwick, a head coach he won the Premiership title under at Leicester Tigers, included the British and Irish international Cole in the first side he selected for the Six Nations in January. He had been stranded on 95 caps for years, but has since become a Borthwick favourite. Cole has gone on to take his international appearance tally to 110, and went on to feature in his fourth World Cup. With the tournament coming just nine months after Borthwick's appointment and preparations including five defeats in six games - including a first ever defeat by Fiji - Cole said England grew more than any side he had been a part of at previous tournaments. "I'm very grateful to have been included with such a great group of guys, and great squad," he told BBC Radio Leicester. "There was a fair amount of England won't get out of the groups, can't do this and can't do that. "It's probably one of the proudest World Cups I've been involved in for the way we built as a squad and got to where we were. "As soon as we got to France the focus narrowed down. In the warm-up games there is always that element of getting picked, not getting picked, being fit and actually getting to the World Cup - people miss out and there is always that fear. "As soon as we got to the World Cup, the squad pulled together. I remember the fist training session, and it was totally different vibe in the playing group." Cole's England and Tigers team-mate Freddie Steward has previously said that the eventual semi-final defeat remains raw and will take some getting over. And while painful, Cole has put their third-place finish in perspective. "It's tough, but it wasn't as tough as it was four years ago when you lose a final," Cole said. "There are plenty of positives to take out of it. South Africa are worthy winners, look at the route they took. They are a special team and to lose to them in the semi-final and go as far as we did is something this group proud of achieving." Just one of those front 3,and top scrummagers that Tigers find since over 40+years…
  11. The one thing that so stands out to me..over these games, where Nacho has got the nod, the chances that have fell to his feet and he has failed to convert has failed to get his feet working together,or has ghosted around, instead of getting himself into the game showing he his prepared to fight for that space, when opportunity arises… Hes had good games, good moments, but he should be on 10 goals already, where more clear cut chances came along, than for Vardy.. Maybe just run of the ball, flow of the game, but Vardy has had very few chances tp convert, compared to Nacho and midfield delivery on occasions for Vardy have been over hit,or just slightly off & in the wrong channel. Nacho as mentioned could be around 10-12 goals & leading the pack Vardy though no where near top Ranking still should have had 7-9 goals though none from Vardy side which would have prevented loss against Leeds or M’borough. I do believe, sometimes if it isn’t clicking for them..then earlier subs, are a must (60 minutes) either Daka, or a Mcateer,Agun, or off piste replacement. We have Cannon coming into the fold, let’s see what his presence can do though again occasionally using Agun or Mcateer in the role wouldnt go amiss IMO.. Not forgetting often in a lot of teams, something clicks and a Vardy scenario starts to work… At present, much as I want him to kick-start something,Nacho is getting nearer to his 9 lives,in my view if he was put on the Back burner for a few games..he rides the bench for awhile,I wouldn’t be suprised..
  12. Me playing silly Buggars 13 games before End of January transfer window… Wouldn’t it be interesting if Nach/Vardy axis was challenged and Daka/Cannon axis doubled up the conversion and assist rate. I see no reason why Enzo shouldn’t open that door, and give it a 5-6 game spread. first with the 2 wingers.. Winks Praet KDH Fatawu. Mavadidi Cannon/Daka or..without, out n out wingers He who dares.. Ricardo Faes. Vestergaard Justin/Doyle Winks Agun/ Mcateer…Ndidi. KDH Cannon Daka
  13. Passingis so ingrained in these players they do not want to take on the responsibility to gofor a goal. I do often think Jesus why didn’t he just go for it…strangely the next few games they do,then seem to revert to type.. Gung ho, is now left to those old cowboy, and war films,or in the past memories of older supporters like myself..Those first 15 minute at Filbert street home games, charge & up and at them…wonderfull to Watch…Leeds for the last 3 years, look busy, hustle & bustle, even Gung ho with purpose, L’pool, BvB these last 50+years. Lets be honest,it never worked for us,in fact over seasons periods of 2-4seasons max, and only with & not an handful of top quality teams, has Gung ho brought, any success. Back in the day, teams who brought something different, wingers though giving often the Terrasses some memory to go home with, became defunk, shoved in midfield or some type of WB,wing play became easier to defend against & break up runs. The real big teams that evolved, created a new system, shown wing play, like Robard,Ronaldo,Mahrez,Grealish plus a few others ,were great rescources to have, but also often not played has-out n out wingers.Coached & coaxed to play with tendencies to concentrate more on their defensive duties,or take their play into or through the middle. All those past wizards of the dribble, the faint, the ball skulduggery ,and flicks in nano secondsfaded on those romantic memories left behind in the modern coaches toolkit. We have found this season, why four +1, wingers that have been told to stick mainly on the wing, with 2 used slightly different..Fatawu/Mavadidi,the Terrasses love them when sent out to hammer down their flanks, many fan and Enzo know the nature of the beast, that over 90 minutes they will trip up,or fade in or out of games, but Enzo rightly believes these 2 they still give him & Team the press and more often than not creates openings… Mcateer/Agun ,shown they can play slightly different roles within wing play or from other positions. Albrighton the club legend, like Vardy Not age,but time has slowly caught up with them..though it doesn’t mean yet they are surplus to requirements and can still occasionally produce their game according to Enzo needs to use them.. IMO Albrighton actoss the 2 leagues,is still one of the best/top crossers in the English game.and great to have around for the younger squad members to ping off, where some player interviews have shown.. How great it would be if Mavadidi & Fatawu could push the Albrighton legend into a respected but deep long lost memory.. Today the modern fan linger too much on the mistakes/errors ,every single player makes instead of embracing those high % of positive moments the individual players, bring for the team & those expectations of the manager, within HIS own set up and system ideology.. Though we haven’t converted has often as we would of liked, questioning that the “offensive play” is struggling and insuating it has somehow imploded or broke beyond repair Naaa way of base. !! Comeback before we go into the festive season, and let’s see if we have had that occasional football wobble or hiccup, & have returned onto even steady keel, accepting there are waves out there, that still could upset our trim & balance.. Flatcap grumblings, and predicting doom all the way if…??? Makes one not the wisest. A bit more favourable tendencies encouragement towards a new manager and his system, squad, club approach would be not less than they have so far earnt.. Our lives and world going ons might be miserable, but for me what’s sacremount are our “ Holidays/pastimes/ and sport, where one pushes the positives, and not dwell everyday, every week on the negative maybes & laydown ground stone markers that all is lost.. Why if one loses a suitcase, the holidays aren’t ruined, just because you can’t wear that special loved shirt,or those so comfortable shoes, even your provisions of baked beans..
  14. Agree with this, plus JJ does use his pace if when attacking that corner space, when supporting Mavadidi/KDH,or even occasionally being there from the build up.. but his defensive duties, make it a rarity..Though 2-3 times in a game,he takes that opportunity….I do think it’s something that Enzo sets up to when attacking & is aware the team might lose out if it quickly does break down ,hoping then either Winks , Mavadidi or Choudhury are on hand to help Vestergaard cover.
  15. What I would like to see occasionally..He often cuts inside a few times, just across the penalty box ,here I would like to see a couple of things more often.. # suddenly square up and take on the 2-3 defenders & space behind He might lose the ball sometimes, but he has the technic, that i) he could have some joy & get through ii).he would draw out a free kick or penalty iii) Sometimes Hes not sure or confused of his own end pass, & movement is broken down both he and Fatawu should be told or coached that they should either chip,or cross to that space on the cusp of the other side of the 6 yard box..Fatawu has done it Several times even if has a defense-group you might be aware, its hard to defend when deliberate, and the forward is more prepared
  16. Luckily, I had a wife who also wanted to go into the areas of the unknown, & pure nature & fauna the journey and destination.. If adventure-travel, create one's own path, so others follow that was our motto.. A cruise, Rollo-hotels god forbid, but if it means or helps others to travel, that's their freedom.. The Earth is too vast... I 'LL undersign that..
  17. When traveling, I don't box countries, or even think, what's a dump or not.. Surely one doesn't, backpack or profess to be a wiley traveler, if " being a dump" is your main concerns. It's finding out the diverse.. Natural or human stories behind the dump, decent, terrible fassades.. I mean UK is more dump, than decent...
  18. If all fans can take this in, let the proverbial penny drop.. Post of the month. What we seem to be forgetting, in and over all these 15 games, Enzo has tweaked and changed things.. PLAN A as not yet been shown to be shown in any particular form... The system & ideas are there, but no final product.. Every OPPO will work out how every opposition way of playing... It's Doing something about it, and preventing it. working on & over 2/3s of a season each season, not forgetting built in versionsand the accompanying tweaks of positions or individual players. The 3 losses did not mean those teams solved the puzzle, they took an opportunity to take on a few cracks within the individual GameDay set up, the system was not compromised, but proved it will roll on... We can't judge a system until it's last cogs have been positioned and IMO we are a good 1-2 seasons off, we are still in the beginnings of implementing & creating it. Enzo has said this, nearly every week, even when winning.. Also by his selectional changes.. We have a base blue print, that is all.. Plan A, B or C just doesn't come into it..
  19. Best place, with some fronts, being taken under the bed covers... AND not turning out the lights.
  20. We will see.... KdH least of the small problems that occasionally need a tweak. We lose 2 games, everybody has to be dropped and we bring in the Academy. AND will expect that Agun, Praet even Ndidi will solve, all problems like a magic wand.. How about, just keeping to our players, that have created this seasons success so far.. Or is that beyond comprehension, Players will have off moments, even during their great games.. But so far this weekend it seems outside some balanced critics, a few are ready to do a Rodgers & throw players under the bus.. RIP UP the blue print of where Enzo has layed a base.. I don't have the foggiest how his season will pan out.. But Enzo and 96% of the playes have earnt the right to make the next play, and show they can stand up to & carry the odd inconsistencies of unwarranted results. Upto Xmas & through the festive season, will show who has the bagging rights, where ( finances permiting) we need immediate investment. Many on here suddenly after 15 games, are not trusting Enzo all round decision making, and ready to dump on players who have gave us our success so far..
  21. He's good enough, nothing Wrong at all, he's caused more problems, than average displays... He had a bad day at the office on Saturday, though still created. Fans at the moment want to lash at at individuals because of their own frustration..
  22. Disagree on KdH, he's had a good season so far. During a game not all things run smoothly, but he is doing more than alright...
  23. Wow what a 2nd half turnaround.. They took us apart.. I don’t know what that does for our future psych.. We looked good in the first half..
  24. Plan B,is just improve our conversion rate from Plan A. We create the chances, but front 4,then front 6,are not converting to a standard one expects. THESE last 4 game days shows we need a goal scorer, that then creates a good scoring rate that others feed off for their odd goal. We need Cannon to be that person NOW..too many games before January to lose out on. Enzo & coaches have to work on KDH,wingers, but more so Nacho & Vardy. Nacho should ,on chances alone be in double figures.plus he was ghosting around in dreamland in the first 30 minutes, where he should of made 2-3 creations of hustled space, his!! Our system is working,Choudhury was working,Pierera was working… Mcateer struggled when falling back( but no panic, time needed to find form) Mavadidi just had a Nacho day,of ball control. Nacho had that regular negative day,of being Nacho..We criticise Casadei, but Nacho is becoming a problem & worry.. KdH alround play again was top, he and the others, seemed to hassle themselves, and snapped at their shots. 4 goals again was on the cards,we split their defence We are struggling to find anyone to take on that role of Goal scorer…& we need at least 2.. Leeds & Brough, hustled and ran around ,like a boxer who looks busy, but doesn’t get the descision…We let both off the hook,by not converting the chances or spaces we created…This lack of conversion rate, will scuttle our drive eventually to the championship top 2. Enzo also has to get his timing right ,on subs and/or tweaking within the system.. example Nacho to no8,Pierara moving back to RB, Mcateer to Nacho’s position.. 2-3 games I miss, the needed early descisions on subs/tactical change in team.. The opposition, were quick to change it around,we were lack lustre in that department. That all said, there is no reason to lose our heads or go into meltdown, the next 3 game-grouping of games ( ca 9 games) upto Dec 26.should see how all teams season will pan out, plus then the 3 game festive games that should show who takes the bragging rights towards the run in until Easter at least, then the last challenge for EOS run in.. The system is not broken, the flexability Therin is not a defined game changer, but converting space, converting chances and finding 2 players who take that mantel on of putting it into the back of the net, while also being switched on from the getgo Plus use of subs are our biggest weakness.. I love @StriderHiryu @kushiro feedback tactic topic, but if we can’t put it into the back of the net, no great system wonders will help us to take on the challenge of the Championship top 2 let alone PL..
  25. For a team with xx% possession, and decent press,we get few free kicks, around the penalty area..I think we have more FK specialists in the team… We have to get them first… Plus yesterday & against Leeds our defence gave away 2-3 FKs in dangerous areas.
