  1. I knew I would find long lost relations eventually, that one day would see it my way & exemplementary be able to explain the most difficult issues so simply.. Those missing links are now slowly rising to the occasion, that together we can dive deep and help solve the world's unfathomable. Once so very few, but now shown to be rattling along showering us with the same success of the generation game, & hitting those jackpots of Teddybear quips & turn of phrase, that it wants me to cry gushes of dexterous joy of flashing flooding tears over gardens of Babylon..
  2. Hoddle ( never enough games) Gasgoine..never completed his legacy, fell off the bandwagon Rooney…He kept a fair balance on the Pitch, but Englands major competitions He was carrying (EO long S) too heavy knocks. Not solid teammates, Or old soldiers to help him through. Bellingham..only injury will hold him & England back.. Rashford/Foden, the 2 points completing the triangle. Kane…with the above 3 complete his destiny, leave behind a strong legacy Saka..can build on these 4. Top Southgate era..??
  3. Browns-blue..line finished 1963-65 & Stanton-Bardons busses. God I loved those mystery tours,and fixed tours,from various depots,even Sunday kiosks at humberstone gate also. Bus depots.train stations,like pubs on a corner…Blackpool illuminations,Isle of white Leicestershire-Northants,remote Pubs children’s rooms( mystery tour)
  4. I don’t know how long we still have to enjoy him, but where & when football fans go into drowse mode.. This great veteran footballer crops up again & again, confirming again that providence that followed him through his career.. Some fans couldn’t take to him,but since his Manu days he’s swathed a positive trail through that career. Character and controversy has been part of his nature, but I have never had an axe to grind on the sport or individuals,I just love the game. Like Rugby,Cricket, most sports. One path that has always sparkled, carrying on from my childhood, looking, watching, learning (good or bad) building one’s own opinions on so called sporting heroes or those long period special characters. Pele,Beckenbauer,Moore,Gerson,Maradonna,Maldini, Cryuff Messi. But this old git, like Vardy, just won’t go away. Love him, marmite him, hate him.. Ronaldo keeps pulling teammates and Portugal through his slipstream. His face ,he carries his mommy-Boy emotions, a guys face sometimes you feel like punching, but behind that is a determined grit, and below carries most of the skills to make a complete a top unbelievable attacking footballer, who even after short dips, will guarantee all,he will find the net…Controversally one of the top goalscorers of my time 1950s-now.. Put him down with words, but like since his teenage yrs, promised to reach the hights of his aspirations. That he has taken those skills beyond many decenters and supporters expectations… I don’t compare,in these situations,I just Note & enjoy the simplicity of watching him,and Messi play. Maybe Bellingham will find and dig out a simular path.. Doesnt fall short, like Best or Gasgoine. If my generation held onto Pele‘s ,Getson’s considered greatness,Ronaldo a tick more than Messi, also has held/pulled his average Nation‘s aspirations to higher levels.. IMO,the others mentioned played for better quality spread all round sides. Ronaldo 38,and has ploughed & stood tall through Europe & New platforms, and still going strong. He can’t stop scoring..
  5. Will you now be willing to become one of the biggest rugby fans. like cricket & football the fans tours can be fantastic…
  6. Yep Schalke Stehplatz Karten…Even from private, impossible task.. I tried to look for you, from my contacts, but ( Christmas time) Stand tickets around BvB/Schalke Even, their neighbours,a forlorn task. Locals would of eyed them up months ago, ready to pounce.. Germans, love a CM & a bargain Football ticket, goes hand in hand.Even casual supporters…and insistent wife’s/girlfriends.The modern romantic-weekend.. Time to get now into the mine…and afters with a tasty meal on foot from any chosen CM. Lunch & dinner, sometimes next to an open-air cosy fire. Hey !! and the choice of beer ,craft/local brewery…/pub-brewery,more choice than Enzo has players from our squad..
  7. Time for 6 Swans instead of geese to fly over, giving omen & notion of the score, plus if one saw 4 deceased foxes,I am sure we can rummage around Swansea & find A skulk of live foxes,or a mother & her mischieving Kits salt of the Earth type.
  8. The Dortmund Christmas Market is quite interesting..The large Christmas tree is made up of many Christmas trees.. I don’t know your internary for Germany..And how many days… But if you are doing a weekend,no use travelling a far.. If you have longer Cologne,Düsseldorf, can be taken in..Small/large CMs abound obviously then cologne & Dusseldorf games…>but not in area called Ruhrpott< The Ruhrgebiet:- Duisburg, Essen, Oberhausen, Bottrop, Gelsenkirchen, Bochum, Herne, Recklinghausen, Dortmund, Hamm und Hagen. Or Schalke04…grrr ( I am a big BvB fan) 1st/16 December Bundesliga 2.home games… BVB have games…9th/13/20 Dec… signal Iduna ( Westfalian) stadium tours..1-15 people flat rate €180/120.. Veltins stadium Schalke..have simular tours.. Sometimes you can take in both stadiums individual tours,or join a group splitting costs.. At one time the offices (shop) would drop friendly hints. All tours can be found online.. Erfurt..3hrs from Dortmund, has probably one of the 3 most beautiful original enclosed within old fashion houses /squares Ch.Markets.spreading through the town.. But there are enough CMs in all towns forementioned. Various-faire for regional & international folk-regional- food, A different Ambiante instead of eating in Restaurants…Even better in cold weather, with well protected clothing against the elements. Plus you don’t have the hassle of finding a restaurant..If you do go to a restaurant…Pefferkorn, /Hövels Brauerei/Webster Brauhaus/ Brauhaus Wenkers( Dortmund institution) so picture reminded me of .. The German mining museum,in Bochum could be worth a visit,if you like to see this type of history..
  9. Everybody, including English fans believe,we will be thrown into dissaray and the England will be routed in a Spion kop slaughter.. But England love nothing more than proving their distracters, just as ill-wind inconveniencies and wrong. Again like the phoenix we have risen above the flames, carrying feathers of previous poor form, and little support from other supporters in any type of desired belief,we can hold up & deny the odds. Time to prepare for denying the doubters & upset those odds, and dig out our redemption for past lost SF & Final ground & a singed foxy Phoenix to take the day. Completing a successfull & satisfying Weekend grabbing also the Spoils from the Welsh Swans..& Northern Sharks………
  10. In someways this Ireland team was like comparing with Englands football Golden-generation’s under 1970 Ramsey, Venables, then Erickson..so near yet so far. I was really rooting for this years Ireland, right upto the last minute, but just maybe it Was a couple of months too late. Many of the players who reached hights & earned great accolades, seemed to have lost that fizz, where imaginative power plays & rallying moves, could turn any game…had gone. Sexton and others, looked & were too tired to make that extra effort, which before seemed easy to turn on at will. None of those emaculate imaginative drive forward moves were at hand, & though the will was there, the effort looked too much..The cupboard seemed bare .. Small slips & unaccustomed unforced mistakes while in possession, cropped up at wrong time,& too often. Again their unusual static movement of Sexton & other individuals or pairings looked also cumbersome ,though the spark & quality shone through occasionally..And I really believed their name was on the trophy.. Until, their legs seemed to go at the same time.
  11. Well a decent manager and complete new coaching team for a start..
  12. Thank God someone come up with this troubled solution, We now know with certainty..that using π we have hit on the football universal method of calculating Pi we are able to solve all our Gameday problems with greater clarity..
  13. It's about taking in, soaking up the sports day, atmosphere, ambiance of the day.. Even make day or long time aquaintances/friends. Memories make the day.. the day/wknd make the memories..Yes missing a nice few glasses of wine or a few demis beer, makes my envy even stronger..
  14. Enjoy the day out.. I AM A LITTLE Envious... What a weekend to be had.
  15. Poor boy….can’t take the shit or the pain, don’t arse around.. On my own…I reckon the whole of England stand with me… There is more of us than you,and we would be the last in Rugby groups, that would not of supported Sexton or Ireland…Bigger or Wales.. Even DuPont & France..!! Smells of football-attitudes..support. If hating the English…carry on who cares. .You support LCFC,so there is good in you somewhere.. Plus S.Africa in their greatness, knew how to play too much of the darks arts.. Forearm tackles, not pulled up.. Deliberately using bent arm with forced hand-offs,not pulled up.. Offside, not pulled up,..in going over the top deliberately stopping France getting clean ball off the floor.. Difference between SH & NH..refs. Shame..the boks have a great quick attacking team.. No I don’t see England team or more of our individuals, being disciplined ,quick or skillfull enough, than the Boks, and the Boks have more Initiative & imagination in their alround play…but sport and hope is eternal..
  16. Great game.. Fiji deserved their quarter final moment..,but even then with their replacement big dogs,England held..Fiji played their underdog role, many hearts, embraced them in this game..Farrell led the English team with smart descisions.. Lets not forget everyone was wiping England off in the qualification rounds… Well England fans let’s crow & growl, and prove we still have our thorns that cause havoc among the Roses… People sometimes forget the bulldog spirit, with not little skill and power,we have.. Again we hold the banner for the Home countries and prod forward with France the NH cause. These finals were really too early for Borthwick, but he took on the unwanted poisoned chalice. Even talk he should be replaced, backward country pundits & fans! Time will be our strength & challenge..Old & new players will with Borthwick will take us forward.. England helped a fresh nation to also bring their own challenge forward. Fiji proved they belong in , joining with Argentina the so called tier 1 Nations of Rugby. Its slow progress, but both Rugby & Football, have new nations that should take pride in their developement & progress. Tonight a French victory would be welcome… But NZ and S.A will take some beating ,for a place in the Final. Though France,England,Argentina ,have that something special to upset the odds..
  17. Curry becoming a liability..poor positioning & poor tackling skills..lost his team field position more times…Fiji growing in confidence…
  18. Be extra kind to your Ladies tonight… LCFC women are building something special… would be nice to know trainer,changing-room targets…
  19. It’s a good, quite interesting point…but the mitigating circumstance, many tourist footballers lead for a few pennies a full working week, they will be spread in Thailand more over Asia over many townships, villages,Cities, where just being able to afford travel can be difficult, for various reasons… Over the years of travelling, one coincidental point has directly followed me,whether in Africa/Asia/S.America..has been stopping off at villages or small townships, including poor or well off regions….I have never wore on my/our travels a Leicester city shirt..but over the years a more comfortable „Tigers“ shirt…Amazing whether early morning or late evening,Those shirts have been recognised, plus Foxes badges on Backpacks…where then everytime both Rugby and „soccer“ were easy the priority debate..People’s who followed through journals, then shared Cafe/ village-room/ Cantina, neighbour’s TV regularly or sometimes once a month. The fanatisch,of the game(s) knowledge and debate of PL,through the Championship, including Profi leagues, can be quite amazing..I always had Tigers ,Foxes even other clubs Parafanalia, with me and either shared or gave somethings over to the central „meeting place“. Twice..once in Africa, village in Nigeria,& once in a remote village in Mexico, I gave over each time the older >Ind coop< shirt, and once in Pakistan on the Karakoram Highway in Soust,to a Military pioneer-unit that over several meets where we gave help,or they returned exchanged favours in different coincidental meets around Balistan. An old but in good condition Tigers shirt, & foxes badges…Because also we found ourselves under the stars, next to a bonfire in their camp discussing Rugby/Football , After /during either their mechanical difficulties, help around a village, after major road landslide( Skardu),or them giving us info map destinations, locations, favourable off-road journeys.Once surprisingly they could help us on a mechanical problem, after many meets where we got them out of a spot… Here I am just trying to project, the difficulties in other Peoples life, just to get a smidge of a chance to watch… “Any English football“ Some villagers or soldiers, could talk about a game seen 3-6 months ago. Put that also against well off Asian/African acquaintances, who live in major cities, in Leicester or around the world, who willingly buy into Sports Pay-TV & have never seen a live European pre-season game in their vicinity or actual league games despite their fanatism towards the Sport or even individual clubs.. More suprising, some of any of the above mentioned with historical & upto-Date knowledge could put their live game local supporter peers to the sword,in a pub quiz. Just saying really..in these tourist-supporters Countries,if only 500 - 1000,can attend a live game with their hero-club,there are 1000s in the same city, who can’t afford it > timewise or financially < plus 10,000 who are fitting into mentioned criteria or simply too far away, but no less fanatical fans… Its just a different Animal(s) that give our tourist Pay-tv supporter ,then including the vast unknown-known spread of supporters, who admire, support and follow the sports or clubs from afar. Some European fans just can’t associate with or understand the screwiest of connections.. Plus top,but unknown UK writers or journalist, that have made their niche & name across a wide scope of foreign regions & countries..Before Social-Media platforms..
  20. Just to take another perspective..with some points. Best New Signing Winks,….He is the centre of what we do,but we need the others to drive us forward & compliment the whole. So Mavadidi, worth mentioning in dispatches Favourite Game Let this one grow.. Most improved player Here’s the contestable.. Mcateer, what a jump from the Academy Ndidi, due to past posts, nobody saw this success story coming Vestergaard…even more so than above Most disappointing player Many very young investments,so all should be given time.. Nacho, his early games, were a big disappointment, but seems now to be growing into the system. Player you want in Jan We searched years for CBS/ wingers, then we found an whole pack of them. I still want that skillfull, hard bastard,Awkward in your face midfielder Weakest position Is present our strongest.. Does Enzo have a long term idea for cover, for Winks,if he takes a knock of 4+ games,or stuttering outages. Predicted finish Not yet callable.. Same path..1st 110pts Opponents find a successfull way to play us: 86-100pts still 1st-3rd Enzo finds no answer,to drop of form/4-6 long injuries..66-80pts top 4. King Power gripe. Club management lack of interfacing with fans.. Why are we creating any type of unnecessary 2ndary low management jobs.. Still pathetic food/snack faire & organisation thereof around game day.. General satisfaction. I am more than happy, and really don’t see ,too hard a struggle, after the pleasant suprise of creating a stable-successfull-platform.Feeling good to let season run it’s course, and ALL players having their chance.. Its International break time, one has to dig deep, for relevant club decent debate..
  21. What leaves me dumbfounded with tonight’s Ireland, was too many basic phases, from standing positions,no one bursting through with some skill & imagination, they had shown over the last few years..Sexton his passing was always at a stand still, very few moves, trying to drive through the line..Nothing really created from play, but their quality held them together, but set pieces too awry. Were Ireland carrying a couple of hidden heavy injuries…? New Zealand have refound their will to play, and shown that unique skill of collective stubborness when attacking the line in both attack & defence..New Zealand physicality, and aggressiveness got on top of Ireland..More Kiwi Players stood out. Like todays other quarter-final, another great entertaining game…
  22. Wales didn’t take advantage of that first half, better play… Welsh again..on and off-field, playing too much the “ why me” game. Real lack of discipline, unfortunately followed them over this past year into the World Cup,and Telegraphed that B.line ball movement the Argies scored scored from.. Excellent game the officials had, they did get those close calls right. Too much incorrect bias on FT, coersed from some poor commentary.. Argies, held their own ..just.. in the first half, but dominated position, play and tactics, in the 2nd half, plus that last minute great try saving tackle..& the last minute interception, which Sanchez had studied and was waiting for.. The Welsh were took ,hook, line & sinker…
  23. I wasn’t answering your pleasant post, but reacting to another one from within our forum, https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/rutter-out-if-leeds-united-leicester-and-southampton-combined-this-would-be-the-best-xi/#gk-illan-meslier-leeds-united
  24. I think our position proves our players status… poor pundit, poor article..
  25. Without starting a new topic… A question to all:- # Would you have preferred to squeeze survival and stayed up,with possibilties of years of no real change, with either the last 2 management choices remaining. # Taking the hit of relegation, and seeing a total new approach from club + management, introduction of new dynamic manager bringing his own new ideology & system # or somehow surviving relegation, accepting the new broom, and doing the clearout & landing Enzo Maresca, accepting that Players and system would still need time. ** Would we be more forgiving,if the last mentioned, would mean, staying positive , even if we hovered around the deep lower regions for 1-2 seasons..?? No matter how we sell to ourselves every mix n pik of possibilities,it’s all relative. It is as it is, and with much all round pleasant suprise,so far working in our club’s future & history’s favour. Everton are the biggest & best proof, nomatter how long one stave off relegation,it’s difficult to climb out of those built In doldrums.. We are ourselves the proof, that occasionally that hit of relegation, can change the fortunes of a club…In fact the unique proof..Since MON,over Pearson/Ranieri + Puel and Rodgers,we have collected silverware or held regular a share of high office. Everton in contrast has won just before MON,the FA.cup, and a few yrs later, were FA.cup runners up…Also played in Europe a couple of times…I believe not anymore than us.. Though they seemed to have longer/regularly finished in PL top 8,more than us.. but without any doubt had more financial clout, & belonged to the revered clique called “big club”… Though lost that attribute during or after Moyes Tenure. Of regular Bottom half, even relegated clubs..Everton & Leicester are closest comparisons..Leeds,Blackburn,Southampton,Newcastle still fall well short. Near future Newcastle could blow us away,or just do an Everton & threaten that history..
