  1. It's not 2004. They won't. Have you seen the Premier League? Brentford, Brighton, Fulham, Bournemouth, Man City, Forest, Ipswich. Football has a much shorter memory than football fans. We're an established part of the modern Premier League identity, we're league and cup winners in the last ten years, it was seen as a huge shock when we got relegated, not typical little Leicester going back where they belong. If Moyes rocks up here, nobody is going to be saying wow, lucky Leicester. They're going to point out it's another symptom of our decline. Which it is. I agree. There's a reason he's linked to a mid table second division club in Germany. I doubt that. He'd be an absolutely appalling manager in the Championship and anyone that can't see that must have slept through last season. You cannot get by with David Moyes when the entire league is parking the bus against you. Having said all of this, he's obviously a massive improvement on Cooper and I think he'd keep this squad up. Or, at least, I think he would have with a fit Fatawu. He's going to need pacy and dangerous counter attacking threats and we're currently left with basically just an out of form Mavididi to carry us through the middle third and that concerns me. I wouldn't hate us signing him on a one year or six month deal, I just don't see Moyes accepting that and given that Rudkin appears to surrender recruitment control to every new manager, I am alarmed by the idea of a regressive dinosaur being allowed to have an opinion on who we recruit.
  2. I'll be amazed if we put in that much foresight. We'll hire him, try changing the squad again next window to appease him, end up with a hodge podge half way between squad, Top will be disappointed that we don't have enough possession, we'll sack him in the summer and be stuck with a mess again.
  3. Moise Kean going absolute beast mode.
  4. Panic mode then. It's a complete departure from the philosophy and they just want to stay in the league at all costs. Would wonder what the contract length is and what the break clauses are. Also think it says that, crazily, they weren't actually succession planning at all and were just hoping we'd ride the storm out and stay up anyway. If its Moyes, that says we're grabbing the easiest available option because the players are in revolt and it's a quick fix.
  5. Not convinced that's not an own goal. Is it definitely even going in.
  6. How the **** is that not a goal
  7. You can climb up Amorims arse all you want, that goal was just Premier League players against a Championship / League One defence. Honking from Ipswich.
  8. I thought he was going to be our next manager
  9. Either the players have gone to the owners and said enough is enough or the club are acting because they've got someone lined up. If the latter, I imagine we'll see someone recruited pretty damn quickly.
  10. YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
  11. Southampton make us look mentally strong.
  12. When did we loan Danny Ward to Southampton
  13. Diaz you absolute donkey
  14. You need to remember FoxesTalk is a bit of an echo chamber. Outside of FT I think a lot of fans expected this season to be hard so they don't really see the problem. A lot of our fans think the players are rubbish and nobody could possibly be doing any better. People like Cooper because they see him as no-frills, man-of-the-people, British, 'one of us', back-to-basics, etc and he says a lot of the right things. These are the people that didn't want Rodgers out until pretty much March time. There is no great mass of people calling for Cooper's head, there's no great unrest in the fan base, most of the players probably also like him because he's a personable and likeable man and that's what they see face to face every day. The board don't want to get rid of him because doing so would be expensive and all they want is to survive by a point.
  15. It's like watching the Rodgers relegation season again. Players you know full well can deliver more than they are just milling around the pitch.
  16. I hate him using the refs as an excuse, used to always think it made Forest look bad when he was constantly at it there. On balance we've done alright with decisions this year, we're in the position we're in because he's not good enough.
  17. @The Bear and friends
  18. It's an obvious pen I'm not sure why some of you are playing it down. Even ****ing Joe Cole thinks it's a pen.
  19. Stonewall pen
  20. BEK stood wide right while Mavididi and Ayew are two of our deepest players stood like holding centre mids in the middle of the park. Absolute, disorganised mess. We don't have a clue.
  21. BEK needs to be starting every game even with Facundo available. Get them both in the side.
  22. Best bit of defending all day
  23. It's always Wilf
