Think he's probably the worst England manager of my lifetime. I've said for years that his track record has to be viewed through the lens of the quality of players he has and how poor a lot of international teams have been in this generation. France are the only country on the planet that have had a better talent pool than England during Southgate's era and even then he only beats low ranked teams and gets favourable draws. If one of your super stars doesn't produce a moment of quality outside the actual tactical game plan you just don't win.

Nothing even vaguely like Braybrooke. Braybrooke could be heir apparent to Winks if he gets some game time and comes through as we all hope. Golding is, by all accounts, not actually wildly dissimilar to KDH. Decent box to box runner who progresses well through carrying.

I don't think that's fair personally. Regardless of who is the better player, you aren't comparing like for like. Firstly, KDH under Rodgers was a lot more defensive, secondly he only really came out of his shell last season as a senior pro to be honest and thirdly, Chelsea are a better side that collectively score more goals than we did under Rodgers in the Prem anyway. You'd want to look at both of their xGs and their actual goals vs xG over the last year to see how well they take their chances and how often they get in to good goal scoring positions. Even the it'd be heavily swung by the teams they were in.
