Been 12 years since my mum passed away. One of the things that I reflect upon, that was lost with the pain of grief, was the cold administration you're just expected to do within days of someone you love passing. As you say, the Will, bills, finances, registering the death and funeral arrangements. It's just a horrendous experience and not surprised to hear about how hard your wife is finding things. All I can say is that it does get easier, but it's just so difficult. Keep supporting her and hopefully things get more manageable.
