I was always optimistic for Ukraine but I suspect a massive defeat is coming sooner rather than later.

Is it really VAR that people have an issue with, or just the abysmal quality of referees? For me it's the latter and don't think chucking VAR out because the refs are shite is the solution. The complete lack of accountability or communication from referees is the frustration for me as the majority of people can accept mistakes. The complete arrogance of the PGMOL to never admit mistakes (or do it as a last resort like the Liverpool/Spurs 'goal') or make the referees accountable creates this huge divide between fans/players and officials.

Why would Russia agree to anything? They're starting to see the fruits of their militirised economy and have seen US and EU support dither (even without Trump). From day one they wanted to erase Ukrainian identity which won't be achieved by agreeing peace in exchange for the four regions. They will also never accept Ukrainian ascention to NATO which I also don't think they'd ever get whilst people like Orban and Fico (poor timing on that one) are in charge. The problem in 2022 was Ukraine was on the front foot and were confident in liberating territory and wouldn't negotiate. Now Russia are starting to really rattle through some territory and are the front foot they certainly won't negotiate.

You can always advertise it as a rental property with sitting tenants for a few months to see if someone wants to take it off your hands. Having good tenants is worth their weight in gold and is something in your favour. I was in a similar boat a few years ago and inherited a few places from parents that I let out and keep the rent under market value just to keep the same families in. Unruly tenants are a fecking nightmare and having good ones might help you sell to someone who does want to be a landlord. Costs barely anything to list a property and if you tell them you'll only sell to another landlord it might give them peace of mind and also give you more time to figure out what you want to do.
