Fair to say, and aptly the good recruitment (Fatawu, Mads, BEK, Mav,) though honestly how much he can do is totally dependent on too many factors from manager, budget, PSR punishment vagueness (no news on last summer window or now is bad for business.) Very much appreciate that our targets last year and perhaps now are so far down the list. Plucking our gems that end up being 26th on the list isn't easy, which is probably why last years 'pl experience' recruitment campaign was most likely instructed from the manager with Rudkin just complying as he does to avoid being the blame when it inevitably goes tits up.

It won't be King. They might put him in 'charge' for the first week for conditioning with a few other coaches but it sure as shit isn't King, you wouldn't just let Brian Barry Murphy leave in that case.

I still don't get the "can't sack Ruud because of PSR" angle. Did we commit to him knowing we wouldn't be able to sack him? Did we spend 2/3m on Coulibaly, knowing we could have used that money to sack Ruud if needed?

I don't buy the Top wanting to look like Man City comments we always hear. It doesn't make sense because we would never have looked at Dean Smith, Steve Cooper.. if you're ideological to that point you don't willy nilly shift. So I don't think Top/us are ideological in that sense, and if they were, perhaps not anymore.

Well played by Brian. Clearly good enough for a top L1l/Mid Champ job and we're effectively Mid Champ with a serious points deduction. Not sure why he didn't just wait for a job he wanted in the first place? Why the need to come here to leave after a few months unless he wanted PL coach on his CV.

100% definitely sell if Mads is 100% definitely staying. No brainer. Jacob is good enough to be a number 1 at a Championship club, and he's just seen the career waste of what happened to Iversen, who was also good enough to be a number 1 at a Championship club. Like others have said, don't think Norwich would have bidded if they haven't sounded out interest from Jacob/representatives. Though I would imagine we're waiting on something more concrete around Mads.
