Standard Rudkin. Not watched Stoke this year but I know they rave about him. Again no idea about his foot work but wouldn't be too quick to judge if he's asked to play a certain way for the bottom feeders of the championship with his excellent shot stopping stats. (Can't be worse than Iverson's foot work)

https://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/313758/viktor-johannson?page=16 Stokies talking about an 8m offer for Viktor Johannson. Some delusional stuff in here about 16m, Iversen + cannon. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if we were in for him if Mads is out longer. He's a fail safe in that hes consistently been one of, if not the best championship GK for a few seasons. Can play as a challenging 2. Probably subject to Ward ****ing off and Iversen perhaps going the other way.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

Yeah that's an iffy Fabrizio Romano rumour He won't be loaned to a PL club, certainly not us. If he does end up going anywhere they'll get a replacement first and he'll be off to Italy. Your idea only makes sense because he's Dutch and plays for Manchester United. -

Great homework, an Iffy rumour to Juventus? hardly relegation zone Leicester City is it. That's Footballnsider tier who will be linking him to us next because 1. He's Dutch and 2. Plays for Manchester United. We're a million miles away from Zirkzee. -

What have you been smoking? Zirkzee? There's zero chance Manchester United are letting a recent 35m signing who is fighting for the starting striker spot there come on loan to us, where he's genuinely not even guaranteed a start over Vardy / Daka... I can only assume you're saying this because: 1 - he's Dutch and so is Ruud 2 - he's at Man U and so was Ruud -
Can only see us selling if its needed to fund a starting CB/RB in Jan. If we were to go down with Vardy retiring and Daka leaving (as he clearly wanted to last year,) it obviously leaves us significantly short. Cannon would effectively replace Daka. Think we will keep him personally.
-
With a CB, RB and Mads returning.. Id feel confident we'll be in with a chance but realistically have to rely on either Everton/Wolves underperforming. Think we'll just about do it with Wolves dropping.

Facundo Buonanotte joins on loan - Official

I'm not sure hes as effective playing the drifting in RW role, asking for him to do a lot while our right is already exposed and every PL team knows to attack it. Presses well and has a goal in him more so than Al Khannouss. He should be playing as the 10 really. -
Honestly think he's just not very good
-
I don't know the reason why, but he's done this a few times now and it's something Ten Hag likes to do.
-
Are people seriously blaming Justin for not being closer for the 1st? That was quite literally an 0.02xG shot from Foden and should have been comfortably dealt with. I like Stolarczyk, he's looked decent in the games he's played but he's very inexperienced, like McAteer. Ward MAYBE saves that, but we would already be 0-2 down... So yeah, thanks Rudkin for not getting rid of Ward, Iversen and loaning out Stolarczyk and getting a PL competent 2.
-
Just going to throw it out there, I think Buonenotte not playing is as tactical as Cooper not playing Ricardo. Think he wants a more creative player in the 10 in Al Khannouss, and a more defensive RW in Ayew / McAteer to account for Justin playing further up. Not saying I agree... Just that its one of the possibilities and imo ahead of 'Ruud doesn't know his best players'.
-
Best of luck to Stolarczyk, hardest possible game to make your PL debut as a goalkeeper.
-
Iversen Justin - Vesty - Faes - Kristiansen Buon - Winks - Soumare - Mavididi Al Khannouss Vardy ???
-
First of all, why do we have to find out about this from Irish news? Are we certain he's coming in as Ruud's assistant? He's from Cork, the same as McSweeney who is always referred to as "coach" for the U21s.. and it does seem more likely that this is our new U21 manager if you ask me. Unwilling to believe Ruud won't have his own man as assistant.

A ****ing coaching staff

Ruud would play who is available. Ward will be recalled to the canteen soon and he's being picked, so I don't think "he's going back" would matter - we don't even know if he is going or if Brighton even have that option. He's either unfit/recovering or Ruud prefers alternative players - I'd lean towards it being tactical. Which is a shame. -
He's 100% in goal. Stolarczyk clearly isn't fit enough (even though he is for the U21s) and seems like Mads isn't ready. He's not going to put in Iversen for the same philosophical reasons as Enzo, and Rodgers for that matter, but even so Iversen passing it to Salah for 90 minutes isn't ideal either.
-
Are we possibly close to Danny refusing to play? There's absolutely zero chance he stays mince pie and alcohol free over the next few days anyway, I wouldn't be surprised to see him turn up wasted.
-
Danny Ward is the luckiest man alive. He's likely the highest paid third choice goalkeeper, probably of all time, while also being the worst. He's effectively won the lottery on the back of a few cup games under brodge and a year of trying for Huddersfield, years ago. He honestly shouldn't even be available to select, Rudkin should have made that clear to him last season. He's had 3 windows to shift him and failed, unsurprisingly. It's so unfortunate we've had to put up with Ward for this long. So again, we really don't have to support him and we certainly don't owe being nice to him. He hates us, his wife definitely hates us. So think logically, he's stealing a living on our wage bill. We genuinely should be making him miserable so he ****s off, but he won't, he's had the opportunities. He chose the easiest route in the world being a third choice GK, for the occasional few boos and an enormous salary.
-
He's really not, starting either is a crime.
-
Well it's clear as **** Ruud had no idea just how shit and disliked Ward is. Probably thought the boos were on today only. I don't expect him to have done any research at all other than call Enzo to ask if the Seagrave canteen is decent. I'm not surprised he's gone with Ward over Iversen, they're both average championship goalkeepers at best. If Stolarczyk is fit, he plays, I hope.
-
Danny Ward deserves everything he gets, the booing, the criticism, everything. He knew himself that he was massively out of his depth when we were relegated and was the single biggest error of the Ruskin/Brodge final season, thinking this okay backup will just do a job for us. He should have left. If bet any money Enzo Maresca told him, the same way he's told Chilwell this season, you're not in our plans, you're not even a backup, if you want to play you need to leave. He didn't leave and although Rudkin is also out of his depth, he would have been trying to get rid of Ward to any ****er, at any price. Which means Ward has refused to go out on loan, or reduce his salary knowing full well he's scamming a living as our "number 1". So yes. He deserves everything he gets and then some. Third choice PL GK is money for old rope - so I don't blame him, but yes, boo him, boo him till his contract runs out and he retires as no ****er will pay anywhere close to his wages right now.
-
Can you call up Enzo Ruud and ask him why Ward only made the bench in the cup games?
