Especially when you consider there was 4 innings played on it today and not one of them went over 123! The batting line up is absolutely fine we’ve got players who have scored 100’s, 50’s etc.

The thing with the Friday night games are it’s just perfect after a week at work. £25 and you’re there longer than a football match, can booze in the stands and even if you aren’t all that into it and just go along for the crack with your mates.

Superb start that. At 51/5 we certainly gave them too many at 170 but a comfortable chase after a blistering start from the openers. Masood a class act and someone that you can see is going to be one that can hold an innings together, in all formats. Van Beek is one of the best overseas signings we’ve had for a long time, too. Every player then comes out after the game signing clap banners and having photos, fantastic for the younger generation that and class from the club to put it on. It’s little things like this that gets the younger generation interested and involved in it all. Really good feel factor around the club at the moment, long may it continue. Players happy to speak to anyone and everyone. Busiest I’ve seen it down there for a while at a t20 as well.
