  1. So I saw that villa have gone back to their shield shape for their club badge now after a re design and thought it would be good to see what people’s thoughts were on our own badge and if people had a favourite? Personally I love our current one and wouldn’t want to change it but if you could change the shape, design or font maybe what would you go for? Anyone who’s good at this sort of stuff want to put a few concepts together of a future Leicester city badge? our badge history
  2. For the short term goal of purely remaining in the premier league to stablise it would have to be moyes for me.
  3. This has got a 0-1 West Brom s***house all over it!
  4. Parents should teach their kids how to properly support a football club and not do one back to the cars with 10 minutes left to go 😂 A lesson in supporter etiquette today. I say this mostly tongue in cheek but ultimately and honestly this probably was a contributing factor in why the celebrations did focus on the kop/union fs corner. Of course not pre planned or with malice from the players or club but during their happiest moment they preferred to spend it with the people who they felt the most love from.
  5. Good point Corky, traffic didn’t seem to bother most today right.
  6. Amazing work by unionFS, along with dogs of war probably the best. Proud to have contributed in a small way to something so spectacular. hopefully Jamie makes a personal recognition of the display on his socials in the coming days 👏
  7. I thought it was only a maximum of 3 times?
  8. Yeah I appreciate that bert and understand the business side of the decision, just doesn’t sit well does it. Us as season ticket holders myself for over 20 years prepay to watch our team, it should be a perk of our unwavering support.
  9. If I’m paying the club a guaranteed direct debit every month and enter a binding contract by doing so, and as long as I don’t personally try and upsell my ticket for personal profit I should be able to give it to whoever I want to and however many times I want to surely? Maybe I’m wrong but this is how I see it.
  10. It wasn’t top that made the atmosphere what it was yesterday, it was players like hamza putting everything on the line and fighting for every ball that did it. No programme notes, no rally cry from the manager, ultimately the bond is with the players on the pitch and that is what made the difference. Actions speak louder than words.
  11. Putting the Mrs in this and bumming the life out of her tonight 👏👏👏😍😍
  12. Fair enough but I have said before that point lead was exaggerated by teams of a similar quality underperforming and us over performing, we were literally on for a record points total. January was the turning point ultimately with AFCON as well as injuries. Immediate return to the premier league is stacked against you, see the odds below. But of the 81 teams relegated from domestic football's elite division since 1995-96, only 22 (around 27 per cent) bounced straight back. On average, less than one relegated team a season returns to the top flight one year later
  13. Fantastic result, promotion from the championship is more than just quality, our games against Birmingham today, millwall Tuesday and then Plymouth make no doubt about it are tough despite the table, teams are flighting for their status aswell as us. Not many teams steamroll there way to promotion from this league and we will be no different. It takes hard work, guts abit of luck and a sprinkle of quality. Forget about the points lead we had, at the start of the season we would have all snapped your hand off for this position, a game in hand top of the table entering the final month of games. Let’s see it over the line
  14. They always say the playoffs is the best way to go up anyway? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Although I have zero faith we win them!
  15. Sorry LM this was sold.
  16. Donated, thanks for providing a true voice for the fans, as your message says we are the true lifeblood of the club and always will be. I always love seeing the Tifos and a donation was well overdue!
  17. I have been seeing this mention of a huge point lead thrown away a lot, and despite this being true honestly I’m not hugely surprised. Our start and form within the first half of the season was literally record breaking and to maintain that was always going to be tough, but even in the first part of the season while we were creating the large gap I wouldn’t say we were constantly blowing teams away personally. We rode our luck in certain periods, take the Plymouth game at home for example 4-0 on paper seems like a really easy game, Plymouth had a few great chances squandered at 0-0 if I remember rightly. Had they punished us it’s likely we see results such as QPR and Middlesbrough defeats just recently at home. My point is that the first part of the season mistakes were not being punished due to the quality of the league, our position was made to look a lot stronger due to the oppositions performance rather than our own. The second part of the season we’ve seen a change to this, chances we are giving away are now being punished and we are not just able to get away with sloppy play and grind teams down to win. We are still a great championship team but within the chasing pack I’d say we are all fairly well matched, no way over the course of the season we have ever truly looked a team who should have been 21 clear of third place. The season has evened out with form, luck and other teams generally finding there feet etc. We just need one final push to see ourselves over the line hopefully as champions. But I personally wouldn’t use the term “bottlers”
  18. Praet looks knackered already just in that first half which is baffling. Well in this game agreed, just depends on the changes and how early potentially.
  19. Up until the 75th minute we were outstanding I thought, we defended so well, granted in the first half Leeds had missed opportunities but it was the perfect away performance. We started so well in that second period, probably the best I’ve seen us play this year, we won almost every second ball and some of our transitional play tore through Leeds. We just had to score in them key moments and we didn’t, it hurts this one as we genuinely didn't deserve to lose that game. But as Enzo says “that’sa footbol” Let’s get back to winning ways against QPR next week and forget this ever happened.
  20. His goal against Man City in the title winning season for me was a stand out memory, the way he lifted the ball over otamendi on the run and then his step overs before smashing it in the net was a thing of beauty. I loved it so much I purchased a close up still of it I think from the photographs of the game. The intention was always to try and get it signed but I didn’t fulfill that wish unfortunately. I’ll fish it out and post it sometime.
  21. Didn’t think he played that bad today? Not sure why he gets so much stick, felt he did alright considering Huddersfield packed the midlfield and space was tight. Was always making himself available for the ball forward, there was one or two times he could have turned possibly and played forward but overall a solid display.
  22. This is outrageous! How did he get signal?
  23. Be nice to win the league obviously to have the outright record for the second tier but this just makes us the best at being second best? 😂
  24. Doctor with all due respect this doesn’t make sense, by a team being closer to another doesn’t shift focus, the team although looking over there shoulder still need 3 points to hold off the other team and if we are above them and lose it still catches us up 😂
  25. I had this conversation with a friend not to long ago. I don’t want them to fail, but I do envision at some point they will. Clubs like Brighton are just one incorrect managerial appointment or a couple of poor transfer windows away from becoming mediocre again potentially. Success ultimately means bigger clubs want your manager and players which we have already seen happen for them, they got it right this time and replaced well with De Zerbi but it will cycle again and the challenge will be to keep replacing their talent with more talent and it can often go wrong and when it does it can start to go downhill quickly. unfortunately we are a good example of that!
