  1. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5721878/2024/08/26/leicester-cooper-forwards-transfers/ The club have already seen one offer rejected for Panathinaikos striker Fotis Ioannidis and they could look at him again, but the forward will not come cheap. A deal could cost more than £25million ($33m) and they are not the only suitors assessing the Greece international.
  2. Just finished the 5th game Enjoyed going through the first 3 again, had forgotten quite a bit about what happens in them I kind of like the stories in 4 and 5 and Judgement was alright, however I was quite disappointed they didn't let you carry on playing as Marcus in 4/5 and him barely featuring at all in the 5th game... bad choice imo Also wasn't really a fan of the wave aspects in Gears 4 Has made me really look forward to E-Day when it releases though!
  3. Are they saying they thought the Rudkin out chants were puzzling? https://foxestrust.co.uk/11083/its-too-early-to-get-despondent Midway through the second half, when the score was still 1-1 there were some puzzling chants about Jon Rudkin, including some rather unpleasant ones. He is one of a team and I don’t believe should be singled out for a collective failure.
  4. All nice and happy with Everton at the moment!
  5. Tuesday should give us a pretty good idea of what his plans are for using our youth Plenty that should be given a chance and if they aren't given any decent minutes against Tranmere or aren't loaned out by the end of the window which would be the only reason to possibly not use them...
  6. I think he will, but I think it will be an extremely underwhelming signing (Datro Fofana)
  7. We wanted the fee set as his option to buy of €15m Bologna were only willing to pay €8-9m
  8. Didn't take long!
  9. Doesn't seem so
  10. They did, just not for the quite high fee we wanted
  11. Would only make sense to go there if it was permanent, if it was for a loan I can't imagine he would start ahead of Morris or Adebayo (unless they sold them of course)
  12. Personally I think I would prefer to just send him out on loan with no options / obligations involved I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up having a very good season out on loan and then: a) If we get relegated he would be able to come straight in and be our starting striker b) If we stay up he could potentially get another chance with us in the Prem after developing for a season, or we could probably get a similar kind of fee next summer anyway as he would still have 3 years left on his contract
  13. Also at the time Nacho would've been going to AFCON at the end of December, so we would have a striker ready to step straight in once he left for I think 6 weeks or so It did make sense at the time - we just messed up the timing of it by getting the deal done before confirming everything was good with Daka leaving
  14. Yeah I edited my original post because that is who I was thinking of haha But yeah neither of them should be playing in the Prem
  15. Paid quite a lot for him as well, such a weird deal edit: they didn't actually pay anything for him, I was thinking of the other lad from Sheff Utd that Newcastle signed for £10m+ which was weird / stupid
  16. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/match-reports/ricardo-pereira-not-playing-leicester-9509252 At Fulham, City had six shots from inside the area, and Faes had three of them. Vestergaard and Ndidi had one each from a set-piece too, leaving just one effort from open play inside the 18-yard-area. City had 45 per cent of the ball at Fulham compared to 30 per cent against Tottenham, but had fewer touches inside the final third and the opposition’s penalty area. If they’re not going to dominate the ball as they did last season, they have to be more efficient in attack. Excluding set-pieces, they completed 11 passes and crosses into the penalty area in their opening match. At Fulham, they did it just twice.
  17. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/match-reports/ricardo-pereira-not-playing-leicester-9509252 Cooper sat down with Ricardo ahead of the first game of the season to tell him he was selecting Justin as his right-back for now. The manager gave the impression that it is a choice between the two, and that he won’t consider either in place of Victor Kristiansen on the left.
  18. Leuven are very lucky that this is already the case for them Rudkin is a board exec there and they have an actual DOF in place
  19. Hopefully we actually get some more players out on loan so he actually has something to do
  20. A loan maybe but I wouldn't bother with an option to buy on him because his wages are ridiculous especially for someone who has done barely anything as a senior player so far
  21. From our mate Nixon https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/30071579/leicester-city-transfer-tom-cannon-sheffield-united-celtic/ Leicester spark Championship transfer battle as they look to sell £7million striker Tom Cannon LEICESTER CITY are looking to SELL striker Tom Cannon — with Sheffield United and Stoke both trying to raise the money. The Foxes have decided to cash in on 21-year-old Cannon a year after signing him from Everton and they will seek a similar £7million fee. As the Blades are finalising a takeover, they hoped to land him on loan for a promotion push but are now working on a loan-to-buy deal. Stoke City are also long-term admirers of Cannon — but may be reluctant to put the money down immediately for the forward. Cannon, who has one cap for the Republic of Ireland, is under contract for four more years but wants more game time. Last season, he only made 13 appearances in the Championship for the Foxes. He scored two goals and provided one assist in that time. So far in the Premier League, he is yet to play a minute and was an unused substitute in the 1-1 draw against Tottenham. New manager Steve Cooper left the striker out of the squad ahead of the 2-1 defeat to Fulham.
