Should be trying Ricardo as the 10 rather than Wilf if Cooper isn’t going to use him in a 2 with Winks

https://www.lcfc.com/news/4079472/leicester-city-loan-facundo-buonanotte-from-brighton?lang=en Leicester City Loan Facundo Buonanotte From Brighton Leicester City can confirm the loan signing of Facundo Buonanotte from Brighton & Hove Albion, subject to Premier League approval. - Leicester City confirm loan arrival of Facundo Buonanotte from Brighton - The 19-year-old will remain at King Power Stadium until the end of the season - Argentina international played 36 times in all competitions in 2023/24 An Argentina international, the 19-year-old attacking midfielder has won two senior caps for his country, and switches to King Power Stadium for the entire 2024/25 Premier League campaign. He made 36 appearances in all competitions for the Seagulls last term, scoring on four occasions, and now adds to Steve Cooper'sattacking options going into the first game of the season later this month. Speaking to Foxes Hub, he said: “I’m very happy to be here at this incredible and important Club. I hope to show my best for the group and that we achieve great things. I spoke a lot with the manager, and he filled me with confidence - it was an easy decision for me to come here. “It’s a big opportunity for me and for this reason I had no doubts about coming. I’m here to help the Club to finish as high as possible in the league.” Born in Santa Fe, Buonanotte is a product of Rosario Central’s youth system, and made his professional debut for the club in February 2022. The youngster went on to represent the team a further 33 times before completing a transfer to the AMEX Stadium in January 2023. Facundo would then make his Premier League debut against Bournemouth a month later, before netting his first goal for the club at Nottingham Forest in April 2023. Last season, he made 27 top-flight appearances and also featured for the Sussex outfit in the UEFA Europa League. Internationally, Buonanotte made his senior Argentina debut against Indonesia in June 2023 and earned his second cap in a victory over El Salvador in March 2024. The new City signing will now link up with his Foxes team-mates ahead of the Premier League opener with Tottenham Hotspur at King Power Stadium on Monday 19 August. -

Hopefully we end up with enough out on loan to make it interesting!

Loan fee now down to €8.5m / £7.3m (including bonuses) Keep going and we can get it under £5m
-
I believe Turkey has different tax rules for footballers and athletes at 20% tax So before tax Galatasaray would be paying him €5,437,500 per annum - €105,000 a week Maybe this is why we want to pay it as a loan fee as we would have to pay a higher wage to match what he gets after tax in Turkey? (Just guessing the last bit, no clue how it would work tbh )
-
If we do get him on loan we will find out EXACTLY what the terms of the deal are like we did when we loaned Yunus last summer
