  1. Apparently his foot planted awkwardly after a shot and he went down off the ball after As we saw with the likes off JJ and Ricardo it is probably an ACL or something like that, and as he is 32 could well be a career ender
  2. Not seen anything about it being a career ender, just that it was bad and definitely the end of his season
  3. Rennes away a couple of years ago did me in at the time
  4. Sounds like Stuart Armstrong’s season is definitely done, big loss for them
  5. Todays Results - Saturday 20th April Championship: Daniel Iversen (6.6 + clean sheet - 90 mins) - Stoke City 3-0 Plymouth League Two: Lewis Brunt (out injured) - Mansfield Town 2-1 Gillingham National League South: Paul Appiah (not in squad) - Maidstone United 5-1 Hampton & Richmond - Maidstone have finished 4th and in the playoffs Northern Premier League Premier Division: Jack Lewis (68 mins) - Basford United 1-1 Radcliffe - 90+10 goal for Basford United means they are staying up with 1 game left Belgian Pro League: Nathan Opoku (unused sub) - OH Leuven 1-0 St. Truiden
  6. Looking forward to starting this again next week with the next gen update
  7. 3 goals and 11 assists in the league this season
  8. I think the pressure is on Leeds even more now, they NEED to win on Monday to still have a chance to automatics
  9. Fleetwood and Port Vale relegated from League One after a big win for Burton who look very likely to stay up now 5 points clear of Cheltenham who still have to play Peterborough and Stevenage
  10. Needs to be right outside the away end as well, main question is what celebration do you go for?
  11. 30 yarder from Cardiff
  12. He got them at the end instead!
  13. Unless Southampton is the one win!
  14. https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/13119386/hamza-choudhurys-perfect-hat-trick-of-blocks-save-leicester
  15. Got away with it a fair few times today but at this point of the season I don’t care about performances just results About time we had some luck go our way as well
  16. Holy shit havent we had the monks back in? Very lucky again!
  17. Smart tactics, just let their really good dribbler do what he likes with loads of open space…
  18. Should’ve been 2-0 down in about 10 minutes in that game as well, it was shocking
  19. Finally brings in Coady but keeps Faes ffs
  20. Faes ffs
  21. He would’ve been playing ahead of Vestergaard, but literally no one expected Vestergaard to come in and do as well as he did at the start of the season whilst Coady was out injured and by the point Coady was fit again Vestergaard and Faes were doing really well so it would have been very unfair to drop either of them which is why it took so long for Coady to get any meaningful game time
  22. If anyone fancies a laugh it says this in the latest accounts: "The Board of Directors of Leicester City Football Club believe that they acted, both individually and as a group, in a way they consider would be most likely to promote the success of the Company for the benefit of its members as a whole in the decisions taken during the 13 month period ended 30 june 2023." I also find this rather hilarious: "The executive management team of the club meets on average twice a month either in person or via teleconference." No wonder it seems like they haven't got a clue what is going on
  23. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/leicester-city-handed-15m-ffp-9236048 The 2022/23 accounts say that “The Group and Company also entered into a sponsorship agreement with King Power Duty Free in relation to the stadium naming rights for the 2024.25 season.” Interestingly, it then adds: “and the Seagrave training ground naming rights for the 2023/24, 2023/35 and 2025/26 seasons. £15,000,000 was invoiced in the period with nothing outstanding at the 30 June 2023 (2022: £nil)." The sponsorship agreement for the King Power Stadium only runs for the 2024/25 season. So, in theory, the club could potentially search for a new sponsor for the stadium which could potentially bring a more lucrative deal for the season after next.
