http://sportwitness.co.uk/club-determined-sign-leicester-city-man-proven-valuable-acquisition/ Sevilla are ‘already considering’ activating the purchase option they have on Leicester City midfielder Boubakary Soumaré after his impressive early performances at the club. That’s according to El Sevillista, who say the Spanish side are determined to sign the midfielder on a permanent basis and not lose him. Soumaré joined Sevilla on a season long loan deal from Leicester in the summer, joining the list of players to leave the Foxes following their relegation last season. That loan deal includes an option for the deal to be made permanent for €15m and Sevilla are now ‘determined’ to activate it. According to the website, Soumaré’s ‘excellent performance’ against Arsenal in the Champions League this week was one of several this season and he’s more than proven to be a ‘valuable acquisition’ for the Spanish cub. He’s ‘generated positive expectations’ and as a result Sevilla are already considered exercising the purchase option that they have on him. His ‘skill and solidity’ in midfield have become ‘fundamental’ to the team and Sevila are now ‘determined’ to ensure he remains and doesn’t return to Leicester at the end of the season. Whether that means they look to buy him early, in the January transfer window for example, or wait until next summer remains to be seen but it seems they’re keen on using that clause either way.

I can’t imagine his wages are that big with us He signed his current deal mid-way through the season whilst out on loan in League 1 and had yet to even play a game in the Championship More likely to be the transfer fee we want that stops a potential permanent move
-
He was extinct for a bit earlier, had to pay 10k to get him
-
AFCON will make it harder but I really hope he gets himself a good move in January Unfortunately I don't think it will be too much longer until he isn't even seen on the bench with Cannon nearly back
-
He didn't get a chance because he wasn't good enough to get one ahead of the striker options we already had Lewis Brunt will never likely get a chance either but I can still confidently say he isn't good enough for us
-
Because he isn't good enough for us

The new centre back evolution is very useful for me Kehrer who is German for West Ham is a great link for my Bundesliga / Prem hybrid

Hopefully they keep Ainsworth for a bit longer This could definitely be an absolute battering

Todays Results - Tuesday 24th October Champions League: Boubakary Soumare (7.2 - 90 mins) - Sevilla 1-2 Arsenal League Two: Lewis Brunt (8.4 + 1 goal + yellow card - 90 mins) - Mansfield Town 4-1 Harrogate Town

Ref's should be made to do a test every month to make sure they do still know the rules Should've been a pen for the pulling and foul on Fatawu as it carried on into the box, not a free kick from where it started
-
No clue how we have come out of that with a 1-0 scoreline and a cleansheet But on the balance of chances I think we deserved to get the win Fair play to Sunderland though, nice to have a team come here and finally have a go and test us Not every game this season will be on easy one with absolute domination, going to be all about us getting 3 points out of tough games like this
-
Don't think they will
-
Started outside the box so it is a free kick but it should be a yellow card
-
Ref definitely has small man syndrome on this pitch, EVERYONE is taller than him
-
For how poor we have still come close to scoring a couple more times as well Even if Sunderland do get one there will still be more chances for us to score again Nice to finally see a team come here and have a go
-
Not sure how there are still some people who think we are having to rely on individual quality to score
-
Although he was only used as a very late sub in one group game he did go to the World Cup

12 years ago today it was announced Sven had been sacked https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/leicester-city/8846837/Sven-Goran-Eriksson-sacked-by-Leicester-City.html?onwardjourney=584162_v1

What Game Are You Playing At The Moment ?
moore_94 replied to LeicesterBran's topic in Music and Gaming
One of the best campaigns I have ever played -
https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/leicester-city-predicted-line-up-8852977 With no Yunus, one of Ben Nelson or Wanya Marcal will have to be called up to fill the bench, unless Maresca hands a surprise call-up to Will Alves, who trained with the first team ahead of the game as he finishes his recovery from an ACL tear.

Madders I am not too fussed about, glad he is doing well but don't want him to get to much success as I enjoy seeing Spurs fail Still disappointed in him after he revealed he had chugged the "Rodgers is great and everything will be just fine" juice that was such a massive problem in the club as I always thought he had a brilliant deeper understanding of the game and would be one of those to realise something needed to change Tielemans I just feel sorry for, I never bought into the whole half-arsing it thing and for me his time so far at Villa has shown that is might well just be the amount of football he has already played has caught up with his body Barnes is the only one I am hoping succeeds (even if it for Newcastle)

Enzo Maresca Pre-Match Press Conference vs Sunderland Yunus? “He’s doing a scan now. So in a bit we will have some news. Tomorrow is complicated. Hopefully it’s nothing serious.” Any other injuries? Any returning players? “Tom and Kasey they are very close. Hopefully end of this week or next week they can start with us. That’s all.” Swansea? “It has been a good feeling. We continued in the same way we were playing. No panic, calm. We continued with our idea that is giving us results. We are happy about that.” Sum up start in one word? “Learning. I try to see what is working well or not working and see what we can improve. It’s a process.” Relegation a motivating factor for players? “Probably a question for them. After relegation, it’s always complicated. Many players left. The players who stayed here are not mentally positive. Don’t forget we lost around 14 or 15 players. That’s a big number. The players who are here, like JJ was injured, Ricardo was injured, Jannik was not involved.” Vestergaard? “What I saw is what he is doing. In our style, he can give us a lot. At the beginning, we brought in Conor to do the same but unfortunately he was injured for a long time. Jannik has been very serious, very professional. He trains very well.” Winks? “It’s a main player, an important player. He was our target number one. He was one of the main targets. I know Harry from a long time ago and when he moved to Italy I thought he was a very good player. “At the end, every player under different managers can give more or less. Harry’s skills are perfect for us. That’s why he is doing so well for us. We are helping him and he is helping us.” Sunderland? “They are third in the Championship for possession and they are very dangerous on the counter-attack. I expect them to be aggressive. They have very good players, like Bellingham.” Spreading goals around? “Very happy. When a player scores, it’s always something important. We try to get them all involved in our style. The five players at the front, they have to be close to the box, so it’s easier for them to score.” Fatawu first goal? “We are happy for Fatawu but I’m very happy for Stephy because he played a brilliant game on the ball and off the ball. This is the level we expect from him.” Rotation? “We’ll see. We have a session today. We’ll see if some of them are tired or if some are fresh.” Anniversary of helicopter crash and chairman's legacy? “Every time something like this happens it is sad. I was at the stadium that night. I was on the bench that night, working with West Ham. The legacy they are showing for the family is unbelievable. “These kinds of things don’t have colours. It’s always bad news. The memory is about sadness. “You can see clearly. We went for the pre-season in Thailand. I feel proud to be part of this rebuild. All Leicester fans have to be proud about this because it’s not easy to find people who invest like this."
