Completely different type of defender from the few minutes I’ve seen to JJ, but not too dissimilar to Doyle. And didn’t realise he is both footed - thanks. Not problem solved, but feels like a good option.

I have just read that Doyle has pretty much never been injured before. Yet he comes to Seagrave and he gets an injury. We need a statistician on the case and a stewards inquiry - Rudkin with his horse racing connections should be able to organise that!

I have no feelings toward any of this lot. Even some of the better footballers in this list like Maddison have clear flaws in his character that contributed to what happened. The one that tickles me the most is how Tielemans is getting on at Villa. It will be fascinating to see how many league games he gets, and the point at which they fully realise they’ve bought a 26 year old in a 40 year olds body.

I’m pretty sure I gave the club some feedback on introducing something like this. If I did, well done for listening! Two eligible young fans per game get a photo with Filbert and some other stuff. This will make a good amount of difference introctrinating the next generation - although why leave it at 2 per game? I know Filbert is busy on a match day and is still harbouring hope of seeing Cousin Dennis and Vicky Vixen again, but surely he could see more? Also who takes a 2 year old to a football game?!

I don’t think he’d get that many. Barnes principally beats his man with pace, and therefore requires a run on his man (not always of course). Mav beats his man with skill, and we need those types of wingers in this system imo. When games get stretched mostly late on I think having a pacey wide man like Barnes would be useful, but then again Mav isn’t exactly a snail.

Shambles - but to be honest I didn’t expect anything less. Other clubs in the football league use the EFL platform (or whatever it’s called), and I think it’s pretty reliable - I’m not sure why they don’t use that. There’s probably some commercial related reason why not.
