  1. Because he’s totally inept at running large and sporting organisations.
  2. It just adds to the thinking that he’s not well thought of when it comes to running large organisations. May Top lose or reduce his wealth to the point owning us becomes even more problematic? I suppose that’s what I’m getting at and hoping.
  3. Potentially massive news with implications for us. What if the CEO doesn’t fancy owning us? Surely we’ll be sold?
  4. Yea I’m just over the border in Cumbria. Are you up this way then?
  5. Really? I live not too far away from Lancaster. Might go and check them out. I only got to go to Filbert Street a handful of times. Perhaps 30 or so. Good early memories!
  6. I’d love to be inside the heads of key people - like Rudkin and Top. What are they thinking?
  7. RvN wasn’t backed with his own coaching staff or players initially, so why not get rid of the ones he did bring in (I know Barry wasn’t his)? We’re a ****ing joke and just need to completely reset all over the club - and I mean everywhere.
  8. Yea pre season against a non league side 🤣
  9. Just started laughing at superimposing Top and Rudkin on to the Chuckle Brothers carrying a ladder… can anyone make it happen?
  10. I meant fake of course!
  11. I feel with the latest round of anger in the communication void thread we really do as a group need to up the ante. We need to go right up to the edge of but not step into criminality. I’m talking a permanent presence outside Seagrave with a banner, I’m talking throwing dog shit at people, I’m talking mass protests at games (like boycotting the first 10 mins or whatever - worked well at Man City), I’m talking all out insurrection. We need to make it extremely unpleasant for the board. The odd ‘Rudkin out’ or ‘sack the board’ chant is not cutting through. We are not being heard and basically we are being ignored. And not just the many who are frustrated and annoyed - not even the KP loyalists have had any meaningful comms about the relegation and future strategy.
  12. He is the only club staff to be personally identified to my knowledge, obviously in addition to “the board” but that is a collective. Just to be clear, who are “group members”? And also I wonder how many as a proportion of the group is “some”?
  13. It’s ok - we should just let him take the club back to the Stone Age and not be bothered about it.
  14. Have we shown Monga the wonga?
  15. Danny Ward got a healthier contract extension for arguably a lot less
  16. Have we announced a contract for him then?
  17. Ok fine! He was taking a leading role in the bit I saw
  18. I wish some of our players had has spirit and character. One you could never accuse of lacking effort.
  19. That he led the lap of honour on in this situation and during Vardy’s final game really does show how tone deaf and delusional Aiyawatt is. Btw, I don’t think we should call him ‘Top’ anymore. It reeks of a nickname he’s given himself to give off an air of superiority. It’s what I’d do if I was as competent as he is in the environment he’s grown up in. Maybe we should call him ‘Tit’ instead.
  20. I go back to my post in the PSR thread, but another danger of signing players for big money on big contracts is that when they underperform you can only move them on to PL, a handful of elite European clubs and Saudi clubs. The selling market for expensive flops is so small. How many times have we struggled to shift high earning players on? Another reason why it was suicidal to break from the model that had served us so well.
  21. This is why the likes of us, Brighton, Brentford and some years ago Southampton had a good formula - buy potential with a high ceiling who have an incentive to progress and carve out a career. As soon as clubs of our ilk arrogantly transition to spending massive fees on ‘established’ players who lack the fire in the belly to improve the margin of error becomes paper thin. You cannot afford to get it wrong - and some point you will. It’s inevitable. Also players who are worth big money don’t really want to come to clubs like ours, so you end paying over the odds for players lower down the pecking order who aren’t worth it. Agents have had a field day playing on our so called ambition. I’m saying some of this through hindsight of course, but if you actually think about it - it’s obvious. We have been run into the grounds by buffoons.
  22. And another striker!
  23. Top level football is a cesspit. Part of me isn’t bothered about going back, but then again I am conflicted given we want our team to compete at the highest level.
  24. This thread is getting out of hand. Next manager? There isn’t a vacancy and any speculation has been from crap sources who are being fed by agents who want to use us as leverage.
  25. I have no idea if this quote is true, but if it is then pretty damning from someone who works for the club occasionally
