My wife volunteers twice a week at our local foodbank a few years ago they had a regular clientele of seemingly needy families. Post covid and brexit this dropped off markedly. then they had a regular group of asylum seekers who came from a nearby hotel. that was shut down last year so they disappeared. afaik, another food bank opened locally and offered a better selection of items. my wife is quite cynical of the needs of a fair number of those who attend. Absolutely there are still some who need the service.

Suppose so Arsenal stick their best school kids in Aldenham school but that’s within ten miles of n London. It’s just a work around I guess for those who are considered huge prospects. Big clubs will always find a way around the rules

Afaik, there is a max travel time/distance that a school pupil can undertake from their home. Maybe the family have moved to Manchester but I think that’s also frowned upon but I’m sure it happens in a few circumstances.
