Utter moron two cars in front of me, decided being an arsehole was a priority when the car in between us (quite rightly) honked at them for failing to pay attention. Proceeded to crawl across the junction and up a hill sub 20mph, but of course accelerated once I'd had enough and overtook. Of course, this was my fault, so he raised his beam at me once I'd successfully passed.

It seems that school playground nonsense is now adult playground belief.

In 5-10 years time? By comparison with what? Using emotional language like 'evicting' when discussing an interchangeable piece of blue plastic gets us nowhere. No thanks. -
But he's done his own research, what's your problem?

There isn't a level Liz Truss isn't rotten at. There's where your analogy fails.

Understood - it is indeed tricky.

Quite a lot to unpack here Bert. First of all, on a personal basis, I have no reason not to believe you. I think saying 'the problem with this place' is that it is pretty normal and understandable that people might be watchful or sceptical - the point you make about others that know nothing isn't really the point. Just because they definitely know nothing doesn't mean the source in question (you in this case, but I'm trying not to make it personal) definitely know everything. I think when people claim to know something that really should be the 3rd party's own business, the burden of proof/truth should not be on those being passed the information. I think your point about 'harping on' is general rather than aimed at me, because I certainly don't on this subject. I am happy to believe what you say to be true. If you're close enough to Hamza that he told you this (unless you were saying it just to make a point), then you must know him quite well (unless he's rather indiscriminate - not impossible I accept), and just to play Devil's Advocate, if you are mates with him, presumably he's told you all the details of his recent driving mishap..... I accept what you say about revealing sources, but the quid pro quo to that is that you're asking everyone to accept you're speaking in good faith without actually knowing you, and that, on an internet forum, is not realistic.

Case closed then. No offence Bert, but that's not evidence.

I can't, it was nothing but a shove.

Sauce?

I presume that were we to offer new contracts to any of those coming to an end in June, what they're on now becomes irrelevant really - it's a player that leaves the club otherwise, so negotiations are done on the basis of what they might get going elsewhere, rather than on what they've been earning whilst in contract. Happy to be corrected on this.

I think things could get good once a point of critical mass is reached. It just requires extra people here and there to keep accumulating.

I guessed as much.

I cannot resist. Surely you mean Fuch off, grammar gestapo?
