Temporary lights in Baslow (Chatsworth, for those not familiar). You wait patiently for your green light and hope as many get through as is legally viable. But a charity driver at the green light sees a lorry wanting to turn left into the oncoming road, so rather than just carry on and wait for the lights to go red so the lorry can pull out easily, they decide to let them out now, meaning that whilst saving this one lorry a few seconds, they massively piss off the long queue of cars behind them wanting to get through the lights. I was lucky, I still got through but it will have considerably lengthened others' days and also the queue back to the roundabout.

I have any number of family members that could easily be persuaded to turn up with me at relatively (sorry) short notice because of a more imaginative attitude to General Sale. Oh and 28k for Birmingham at home in the FA Cup is a really good attendance, however it has come about.

I don't really see the difficulty - and 66 is such an extraordinary haul that that is what I wanted to emphasise.

For those that whinge whatever and fail to acknowledge the many successes this season, it's worth pointing out we're not winning most games by sheer luck - it might just be that your cognitive dissonance won't allow you to concede that you might be preventing yourself seeing the statistically obvious.

Not just dead, but at times deeply unpleasant.

The idea of being a supporter is that you support, regardless of result or quality. To use the style of play as the reason for not doing so is to make excuses. The blame lies partially with the club, partially with people having pathetic attention spans and partially because we're all incredibly spoilt and used to instant gratification.
