  1. I like lamp
  2. Every episode he did of this series is golden, absolutely life enhancing stuff.
  3. That's because they're utterly irresponsible.
  4. The main forum, the majority of the time. I'm just not going there today.
  5. I still find it baffling to find the left being blamed or used as the bogeyman, despite 13 years of corruption, self-interest and upper class bus shelter smashing by the most dangerously out of control hard right government this country has ever endured. I honestly think a significant number of our population think they deserve punishment, and vote for it.
  6. I'm guessing @Mark has been sticking pins into wax models of Praet since the weekend
  7. I am booked in for Thursday, I rather need my hands.
  8. It's not the fuse, because it always starts up half-heartedly then just kind of peters out.
  9. Easily righted I hope.
  10. I think I prefer my version, just. On an old Peugeot I had a heater matrix that was always going, it was a miserable experience.
  11. I hope it's not the heater matrix.... it's a Skoda Octavia. There is heat there, just no air moving.
  12. Not a great time for my heater fan to grind to a halt...
  13. I think he's pointing out that while some people are having sensible, constructive discussions, there are plenty more just finding fault indiscriminately.
  14. I think he's allowed to point out that he thinks your moaning is invalid. For my part, I tend to switch off when people call anything embarrassing. Mainly because embarrassment is so endemic to the British as a whole, so it becomes meaningless after a while.
  15. Keep it social guys - we can disagree without getting personal. I'm trying to get better at looking to understand different points of view, or see past how it's put.
  16. It's basically an extension of the hatred of intellectualism that has been rife for some time.
  17. I have to admire you, and @Babylon - you've taken the consistent, honest route of not enjoying it and thus choosing to not go anymore. Too many people are still turning up and then repeatedly moaning about it (apparently). That sounds like the definition of madness to me, and tends to support the view that a sub-section of people just look for reasons to complain, be it at the football or elsewhere.
  18. Yes, this is it, really, and it also explains so much of the apathy when it comes to people vocally backing the team.
  19. No we don't
  20. I suppose it is a momentary blindness or disorientation. I slow down, it really is unnerving.
  21. I think it would be fair to suggest that past results at Hillsborough have little bearing on what happens on Wednesday. Anyway, a shock defeat looms......
  22. At some point in the last 200 years, one part of my family emigrated here from The Netherlands. I'd imagine many of us are a big mixture and I wish people were less concerned about it.
  23. Don't forget your manners though fellas
