To his credit I don't think he's ever let us down, Giving 100 % everytime he plays. It is puzzling why he hasn't been used more especially late in games where either Fats or Mav has put in a big shift.
-
That's interesting, Vardy yes, but I wouldn't have thought that of the others. Perhaps it was against the lesser opponents. Against the chasing Teams I wonder how well they've done.
-
Yes I agree with all you say. Winks is being targetted more an more lately. The opposition midfielders are pushing in and playing closer to him closing down quickly when he receives the Ball. We really need Ricardo back ASAP.
-
If he gets us over the promotion line he'll have earned a new Contract. Though I'm sure he has promotion bonus built in already. We definitely need a new Striker for next season. Money will be tight so we need to find a young player who's already scoring lots of Goals who can come into the team immediatley.

Yes, Looking at all our strikers individually Vardy is the only one delivering the Goals we so badly need. Daka has played well in games but isn't scoring enough. We should be trying to create that space in behind where is pace will win out against most defenders. I think as a CF he needs to be a little more aggressive at times both in his play and with the Refs. Kelechi we know can play in the 8 role but he seems disinterested in games recently, Maybe he's just out of form. Cannon is only starting out and so it's unfair to put that pressure on him, Plus he needs an extended run in any team to get up to speed. Your right, Most teams are doubling up on our Wingers but I also think they are being exposed out wide at times without any support. They're are also working hard getting back helping out defensively. It would help if they had the inside players sticking closer to play Balls around the corner and get in behind defenders. Which is another reason they have to play a lot of Balls backwards because they don't have the support when needed. I think Enzo could do more to help them in that he should swap them over at times in games if only to confuse the opposition. But we should also be hunting in packs. Sometimes I feel a forward pass is made and then the passer sits back as if that's my job done. We need to create space between the opposition so as there's always another pass on. Ricardo is very good at doing that but sadly he's out injured, But that's whats needed. A lot of it comes from showing players where they need to be in different situations in training sessions. I totally believe in Enzo and what he's doing but sometimes you have to put your beliefs to one side just while you get a result. As it's results that ultimately matter. Even if that means putting Vesty up top and going long and winning off knock downs. Record Books only show results not how well you played. For us right now, It's all about winning. He needs to change something as he can't change the players.

It's a difficult one to call but I think we may well go full strength for the following reason. Chelsea are very hit and miss and are beatable and our possession based football might just piss them off. The players have had over a week since the last game to recover and they'll have 12 days until the Bristol Game. Plenty of time also to recover. If we're out of it by half time pull a load of them off , But if we're still in it why not take the chance and stuff them again.

Scoring has become a bit of a problem. We need to rely on Vardy to produce his best on the run as the others are hit and miss. Daka has dried up Kelchi has lost his way, Cannon to be fair is young and needs to play regularly to get up to speed. KDH though getting chances is also not scoring. And the 2 Wingers need to do more in the attacking sense and should be scoring more themselves. So our promotion could very likely hinge on how Jamie performs for the rest of the Season.

I went to Marmaris about 10 years ago. What I remember was it was about 1.5 hours from the Airport. I'ts not a massive resort which for made it nicer. Food was fine prices ok. The Euro was accepted everywhere. Jewelry was good value at the time about 60% of uk prices. But things could have changed since then I don't know. The Bay is lovely and you could go out into the Bay on a sailing ship and jump off into the Bay which from memory was about 30 to 40 ft deep. All in all we enjoyed the Hollday in Marmaris.

It's a difficult one because what you're essentially talking about are Children legally speaking. The question I'd ask is why didn't the Club do enough to protect their interest in him if he was a standout talent. Did we keep the parents informed as to his progress within the Club, Or offer any financial incentive to the parents as a Family. I mean they throw away millions on Agents who are a parasite on the game. I also think whatever tribunal makes a judgement call on a valuation, There should also be a guaranteed percentage of any big money future Transfer certainly with a timeframe say up to 30 years of age. Surely that only seems fair. -
Happy Birthday fuchsntf I always enjoy your posts even when I have to read them twice. Cheers, Have a great night.

He's a good player but I would'nt have signed him. Our lack of a physical presence is costing us points. He's here now and we're stuck with him so how do we get the best out of him. Enzo tried him in the 10 against Leeds and it cost us the game. With both him and KDH all at sea. KDH is much better on the left and Yunus on the right. I'd try him up top against a big CB where is footwork would cause problems along with Kelechi who likes playing off the front. This would require committing another player forward and take time to perfect which we don't have with games running out. But we do need to change things a little bit as we don't have any more players available.

In a couple of Weeks if we are to believe what we read about FFP.
-
He's been targeted by the opposition in numbers. We need to move his position to draw players elsewhere before they figure it out.
-
He's very good in possession but we're not using him right. He's never going to cover the ground KDH so we should'nt be asking him to. We should be using him to cause havoc in and around the Box with his trickery.
-
I cant believe he didn't make any changes sooner. Mav was poor all game Faes wasn't much better, Hamza saved his ass a few times today. I also don't understand why we don't put Vesty up top and just win knockdowns to create chances for others.
-
We have to hope that he comes back refreshed after a break away.
-
He was a disaster today in almost everything he done. Why Enzo didn't take him off is also a mystery.
-
A great Cardiff result 2-1 to Cardiff. I hope we can take care of our buisness now.

Haven't Hull always been one of our Bogey Teams down the years. ? I remember them beating us a few times when I thought we'd win comfortably. Vardy up top will find a way to get one, KDH is due another goal also. So I'm going for the Nervy Win.

The one who enthrusted Susan was Vachai, She's been with him virtually since he set up the Company many years ago. I short she's been the Financial Brains of the operation and do a good job so far considering how wealthy KP is. It seems she negotiates player sales as well as many other things. What's changed is a Board makes the main decisions not one person Vichai. Even for Susan thing have changed. Because she was his right hand man so to speak I bet he had her Back within the Board because he trusted her. Now she even has to wait for the Board to make some decisions and we know how difficult it can be getting agreement with personalities involved.

I don't think it's on Enzo, Yes it's part of his job to get the best from the players. But dealing with the pressures the Players are felling is difficult for any Manager. The best we had in this department was probably Claudio and O Neill I'd say. Pressure affects everyone differently. Some trive on it others wilt or hide. Someone else on here suggested maybe it's time to bring in a Sports Psycologist, He's probably right and now is the time to do it. You can't hide anyone from pressure it's a natural occurance in humans, But you can change how they deal with it. Recent losses have planted doubt in the Players heads. Players don't want to be making mistakes especially now, but of course the opposite happens. That's when they subconciously hesitate and it can be difficult to get that out of their Heads as they know the result is important. The more we win the pressure lifts and players perform as we know they can. Lets hope we can keep this new streak going by winning again tomorrow and maintain our lead over the other teams. -

We're at the Business end of the League now. Winning games is easy Winning must win games not quite so easy and they're all virtually must win games for us now. The free flowing football demonstrated early in the league has been replaced with hesitancy and fear of doing something wrong. So attacking or risky passes are replaced by safer options usually backwards or sideways, Allowing the opposition to get back and regroup causing many attacks to falter. The Bournemouth game was a perfect example. It was a game many thought we'd relinguish easily because of us prioritising the league promotion. I'm delighted we didn't do so, As it gave us as Fans and the Players a chance to demonstrate how good a team we can be when everyone performs close to their best. Enzo knows the squad isn't perfect but it's all he has to work with. The system isn't the problem either, As demonstrated by our league position and the Bournemouth performance. What we need is for the players to get back to playing through the lines with free flowing football, While supporting each other with and without the Ball. Yes, This entails running more mostly without the Ball providing outlets for players in possession But also chasing down the oppossition when we dont have the Ball. Do this and our technical superiority will generally win out as we grind down the opposition. -

We had one as a member of Staff and Claudio got rid of him. It was a very short sighted decision by the Club and should'nt have been allowed happen. -
We need his leadership at the Back along with Vesty.
