Get Ndidi and Soumare off and we might have a chance of stringing a pass and making a tackle.
-
Our defence and midfield have to be the thickest in the league. Okoli seems to have chilled out with the bad passes but JJ, Coady and Soumare are doing their best to help out the opposition. Bilal as usual making things happen. I love Vardy but he is done, he doesn’t even press and cause a nuisance anymore.
-
We have Ndidi and Soumare in the middle, my nan could overrun our midfield.
-
Finally a goal to analyse that wasn’t being picked out of our net.
-
Why doesn’t Mav have more confidence in his left foot? He could have got more shots off quicker than constant cutting inside.
-
Two games in a row he’s cost us goals because of stupid decisions
-
We wouldn’t be so easy to play against if they actually pressed rather than just point and the defence allowed the players to walk into our box. I hate seeing our players give up the press as soon as they get a metre away rather than trying to put them off.
-
Get Kasey off now, he showed why he is useless. Had time and space to pass, stops and passes it back. A winger who is too scared to make something happen.
-
Standard JJ performance. So easy to play against when your RB never seems to be in that position Soumare was fouled as he was too slow to that ball, the Brighton players slide was quicker while he was further away.
-
Kasey seemed to do well, albeit in the championship, when he was around the goal and had no time to think, just react. You can tell he over thinks his options and self sabotages.
-
And JJ to not move from the right back area. Get Ndidi back to roaming around the back so Vestegaard, Winks and Eicky can concentrate on getting the ball up the pitch. We really missed KDH energy in midfield and replaced him with Steve Wonder.
-
More like a bingo card where you know which balls will be pulled out. Check them off as the game goes on.
-
It will be more of the same. Apart from Bilal and Mads, our squad is lacking in ability, brains and urgency. The same clown show at the back, slow passing around because JJ and Thomas won’t even look forwards to see if they can make a pass. Coady will pass it to the opposition as Ndidi and Soumare either hide or auto pass back. The ball will get blasted to Vardy like at Newcastle and he’ll give it away as he’s too busy pointing. Mav will do 5 step overs before hitting the ball against the defenders legs and Kasey will be running in treacle and turn backwards. Bilal will be the only player pressing, tackling and trying to make things happen, too often on his own. He’ll get booked and run himself into the ground.

The question RL should be asking Ruud after every game is “what is it about Soumare’s performances you like that keeps you playing him after offering nothing but mistakes and no effort?”
-
Same result with Ndidi and Soumare. No defence or attack. Useless manager
-
I’m expecting Daka to doing good work, getting in a half decent position then tripping himself up. He’s on for a hat trick of games. You’re right, JJ and VK offer nothing either end, they do both badly. JJ has PTSD when he gets to the halfway line so stops and passes backwards. VK seems to be afraid to cross first time under no pressure, so waits and decides to cross just as he’s about to get tackled. No matter the change of shape, the wing backs always seem to drift into the cb position leaving space for their wingers, then having to react too late.
-
This is down to Ruud’s hubris. For all the behind the scenes issues that Winks and Skipp have had, surely that doesn’t take precedent over the teams performance, future in the premier league and devaluing players and the club. Soumare should never have been brought back into the fold. One run against a 10 man Ipswich. The opener at Everton where he ducked out of the way and moved behind the player should’ve seen him out in the cold. He replaced JJ as being a root cause of goals. I can’t stand watching a player jog by him then he peels away to mark a zone with no one in. When we get the ball to try and play out the back he then stands behind a player offering no chance to receive the ball so it gets passed sideways or Coady tries and plays a long ball out and we get countered like at Newcastle. For all the defence people try to give him, when he acts as a ball carrier he holds onto it way too long then ends up passing sideways or losing the ball. I don’t think any actually have resulted in even a chance at goal. Him and Ndidi will be in the middle and the same will happen. Ndidi will be expected to create and finish while running everywhere and be shattered by 60 mins. Soumare will get 8k steps in at the most,
-
Both are dogshit, it doesn’t matter where they play they can’t do anything right.
-
Soumare and Ndidi are part of the wider problem. Both offer zero protection and contribute nothing going forwards, only passing backwards at every chance.
-
Along with the donkey Soumare in front. It will be the same team sadly.

And seeing JJ and Ayew ahead. My favourite moment for Ayew was at Palace where he got the ball on the right wing, turned inwards straight away and held on until he got to the left wing and gave it away for a throw in making no progress up the pitch. Add in bringing Soumare back in as a regular which Ruud carried on. That should be the barometer for whether the manager has more than half a footballing brain. -

I never warmed to him, I couldn’t care less about the Forest connection more so that he was an excuse maker in all his interviews. I watched his pre season playing players out of position and freezing some out, lack of tactics and improvement with the players which then rolled into the season. I can’t believe that the people who scouted the potential of Bilal thought buying Ayew, Skipp and offering anything more than a 1 year deal for Reid was a good idea. -

Such a great player and very likeable. We missed him at the start when JJ couldn’t do anything right yet Cooper was too stubborn to change it. Then gets injured when he could get a chance to feature. Him and Fatawu have been such a loss while we’ve been stuck with JJ and Ayew. I missed watching Ricardo pass and then move into space to carry on the attack. The complete opposite of JJ. -
He did well considering the atmosphere and noise around the club. The cheers would’ve boosted his confidence. Then you take into account the donkeys around him on the pitch (excluding Ricardo) and he did great.
