Top needs to act quickly otherwise we will just be in the same position. I’m guessing he won’t do anything until it’s in the Bangkok Post and he loses face to his hiso Thai nepo friends. The books need balancing, the squad needs rebuilding and the poor/toxic players need moving on. No point having a DOF who will try and scrimp and save to balance the books and we end up in the same situation. No point having recruitment that think Ayew and Reid are worth investing in, even as back up. Soumare, Ayew, Reid, VK, Faes, JJ, Coady and the rest of the clowns will cost us more on the pitch than a few million on the balance sheets. We need someone now to start working out how to build a team with brains and ability to support Bilal, Mav, Fatawu and for now Daka.
-
Yep, JJ has stunk out the club with his lack of defensive abilities and unwillingness to be progressive, so he offers nothing and is somehow getting worse. Thomas played well as he had to stay switched on against one of the best in the world, he certainly didn’t embarrass himself. Hopefully he can apply that work ethic and ability next season against lesser opposition and add quick progressive play and support for Mavadidi.

And had KDH instead of Wilf and Soumare. -
Soumare jogging to a ball closer to him and loses out. Mav is getting no support.
-
Or you and I instead of Ndidi and Soumare and the midfield would still be playing the same way.
-
We really miss the energy that KDH had, he would always be there to offer support. You can understand Thomas has to keep an eye on Salah but Ndidi and Soumare offer nothing. Bilal needs to start making some clever runs for Mav and the midfield add some support to draw away bodies from Mav as he's going back into his shell and trying to too much or send it back.
-
Reid and Soumare off at half time please. Ruud will sub Ndidi on 60 mins when he's shattered and keep Soumare who will remember he's playing today and try to make a couple of driving runs but then forget to pass the ball after the hard work is done.
-
Ndidi and Soumare are complete clowns in midfield, stink out everything they get involved in. It's insane we have played the whole season with a central midfield without any attacking or defensive attributes.
-
Look for the player pointing and not moving
-
Faes and Coady keep passing around the back constantly putting Mads under pressure who then makes shocking clearances. Soumare his usual self of floating around yet being nowhere, when he calls for the ball he just pings it backwards putting others back under the Liverpool press.
-
Ruud must like what he sees from Soumare every week, what that is I genuinely don’t have a clue.
-
Soumare, Ndidi, Coady and Faes. Spineless, spine.

Soumare to complete his Parkrun jog this afternoon. -
Not meaning to dismiss your opinion but not sure what you are seeing to class as a good leader. He’s been in countless relegation battles in train wreck teams, either he isn’t good enough for a better team or he contributes to the hardship of the team. If he’s a good leader then why doesn’t his back line listen to him, thats assuming he and those around him have identified the issue that get repeated every week. He talks rubbish that is completely disconnected to what we have just watched and is in self preservation mode.
-
Him being our strongest leader and most vocal presence to the press is an example of how the rot has been allowed to take over. The “good around the dressing room” reason has never washed with me, if someone is crap at their job why would that be someone to motivate and have around. He’s the Danny Dyer of football. To think we have had Huth and Morgan working at the club in some capacity while the defence has been a mess for 3 seasons, lacking any discipline and responsibility is a joke Get those two working with Nelson, Okoli, Soutter to drill the basics into them as well as Woyo picking Ricky’s brain while he’s still here. Keep them away from JJ, Coady and the Chuckle brothers.
-
They also had each other to grow and improve with as well as peak Vardy and Barnes. Bilal is surrounded by donkeys.

Brighton A 2-2 Post Match Thread

I understand that, but it wasn’t a shoulder barge or an arm strong holding him. He had a fist full of shirt and pulled him back. The player went to ground easily but Thomas the idiot gave him the excuse. Our defence has constant poor positioning and are physically weak. Almost all our team are bad at defending, pressing and tackling is as rare as a city goal. -

We had Fatawu and Ricardo fit and ready to go but Cooper wasted it with his idea of having JJ do everything apart from the actual basics of a defender. -

It doesn’t help that our defenders are thick as shit. Why pull the shirt back and give him the option to fall over. Forwards know that any contact, they can fall to the floor and VAR will look at it. Vardy, when he could run or had balls actually played through, was the master at getting his legs clipped and winning penalties. -

I think he would do a better job in midfield than Soumare. He needs to trust his instincts more and not slow things down to nothing. Was willing to press and tackle unlike the rest of the team. Shame Bilal got a yellow so early as he doesn’t shy away. -
We have missed Fatawu badly.
-
We must be watching an ai stream.
-
Okoli is useless on the ball, he takes too long as he doesn’t know what to do or have the confidence. Mav showing why he is frustrating and hard to defend.
-
That play just sums us up. Soumare and JJ passing sideways and back under no pressure until Brighton’s press makes Mads boot it back to them.
-
He can barely control the ball or make a pass. Henhas gone into his shell now and is passing back every chance even if it’s the wrong one. Our defenders are thick as ****. Pull the back of the shirt and think they can get away with it.
