Insane that a modern day young cb is so poor with his feet, our coaches have done nothing to improve it and the team keep giving him the ball under a press.

They have ruined our attacks all season. They won’t run into spaces and demand the ball from s standing start. Of Mav hits a brick wall he sends the ball back to Thomas and doesn’t even attempt to run forwards and Thomas sends it backwards further. Dullards Shit coaches and managers haven’t seemed to address this other than let them get on with it themselves and hope for the best.

How bad was it for those not watching? I’m guessing he fell over and it rolled 2 feet.

Unfortunately Mongadidi isn’t any better apart from being more likeable. He hasn’t learnt how to play in a team, a decent manager would’ve started to teach him how to use his skills in a game situation rather than beach football against his mates. Such a waste but at least he hasn’t been ruined by the poor coaches rather he’s been left behind.

How is the play? I’m guessing plenty of pass and moves with the full backs slotting the wingers into space and then creating an overload, the midfielders drawing defenders away to leave space for Daka where the wingers selflessly look for open players?

Just Ricardo, Okoli & Thomas. Exciting afternoon of Ricardo and Thomas passing backwards for Okoli to pass to their midfield.

He will play the same team and they will play the same way. Nothing has really changed. A caveman manger with his experienced pros will get us out of the mess they created attitude. I’m not sure what these manager and coaches do all week. Do the players have zero agency and watch themselves back to see why they keep making the same mistakes. The defence are still slow, passing around the back for the sake of it so we barely get to hit on the break. The attacks mainly start with a player who struggles to pass the ball, yet they haven’t fixed this. A forward who acts like a CDM breaking up our own attacks. The two wingers have been the biggest disappointment for me this season. Fatawu has relied upon individual moments of brilliance but can’t do the basics of being a winger. Both drop deep, stand still with their backs to goal and then hope to skin 3 defenders, one tries to shoot from distance and the other will skin a player, won’t cross when actually free and then try and skin again. So many attacks are wasted because those two refuse to actually run into space to receive a pass. Mukasa looked exciting doing this in his first game and then stopped trying to play them in as they don’t bother to move. Reid tried to play Fatawu in a couple of times and he only bothered to move once the ball had gone too far away from him. No instincts other than greed.

From what I remember, Nelson looked good next to Vestergaard. He was just doing the basics of mopping up and getting rid of the ball quickly into midfield. Once he took over from JV he started to play like him with the useless tactics they insist on playing. It’s been downhill since especially with Okoli next to him.

Even more annoying is it doesn’t matter the player, the results, application and mistakes are the same. There is no difference between Hamza, Thomas and Ricardo or the cbs. coaches/manager insist on playing out from the back when they are just not very good at it. Okoli can’t pass yet the players are happy to put him under pressure and expect something other than a misplaced place. Zonal marking hasn’t worked since BR yet they haven’t changed it up. There was a point when 3-1 down and the defence walked to the halfway line but no one wanted to make a forward pass. Nelson and Thomas back and forth, the crowd booed and then Thomas makes a pass. Hamza constantly stood still to make a pass and invite a press which was usually to Skipp to pass back or Okoli who would lose playing wallie on his own.

Yeah both are dog shit but Daka gets the nod because he causes less problems across the pitch. Ayew will actively seek out the ball in areas that are already covered and then just look to fall over or hold onto the ball and ignore his team mates u rip he loses it. He has caused more counter attacks than attacks.

Did he? I only ever saw this statement regurgitated by Leicester fans which I assumed was just a cope. Maybe his agent hired Hamza’s bot army.

I forgot that because of the run and strike from JJ. I still stand by him not playing out of the back as much even though he is the stronger of the two. He is better than what we are seeing. He was starting to make some driving runs but they have stopped. I guess there is little point if Mav and Thomas never run forwards to receive the ball.

He might be good on the ball but he isn't even making the passes out the back anymore. His one drive he attempted he wasted time flapping and then tried to cut back and messed it up getting a yellow. Okoli can barely make a pass yet the ball keeps being given and expected to start the attacks. I can't stand seeing those two pass sideways to each other until its given away. How wedded to being a CB is he? He's young enough to change position, he could do the role that Skipp has been given.

Slow donkeys at the back that prefer to pass sideways and backwards, a striker who is never where you need him and wingers that over play and under think. Nothing has changed. Another grug brain manager. They will spend all game trying to pass and run into congested areas and ignore the space ahead of the wings.

Mav is lower league Championship or top D1. Fatawu isn't great at the basics, he isn't instinctively a team player sadly. He has been left to his own devices by the clowns we have had since Enzo and especially this season where as he needs guidance and a defined role. He is young though and a decent coach will change that.

Mav and Fatawu will slow down and wait for defenders to try and beat, if they beat them they cut back for another go. Neither have the brains or instincts to run into space ahead for the option. It's like they forgot everything that they did well under Enzo, yet we have kept the boring passing between brain dead defenders and smashing the ball to Ayew or expecting Skipp to play intricate passes.

I can't wait till we get wingers that want to play like wingers instead of pretending to be Pele in escape to victory.

The only difference in that game was Bristol didn't press from the front. Both wingers are in that mood where they want to do everything other than cross the ball under no pressure quickly. Mukasa seems scared to shoot.

I can't stand seeing the passing between Nelson and Okoli.
