This game with be a foreshadowing to see the true character and ability of certain players.

If the players can resist the first pass out the back to Soumare who always blasts back no matter what and avoid Ayew in the build up then it flows better. If Ayew just goal hangs and let the young players do their thing, they are looking to use their ability not cheat free kicks and slow it down in the half way line. My main concern is still the same from last season as it hasn’t been addressed. Zero press from the forwards, apart from Bilal who ends up getting booked. The ease at which the opposition can walk through the midfield of Soumare and Skipp won’t go away just because we are in the Championship.

Another very good player scouted and lost because failures off and on the pitch. It’s a shame he didn’t go to a better club.

That’s assuming they get another goal scorer in. Last season we sold KDH and got Ayew, Reid & Bilal. Which will it be this time 😂

I trust our police force to use this reasonably and without prejudice.

He needs to stay on his toes with Faes and JV in front of him always pissing about and passing back to put the keeper under pressure. He isn't great at kicking out, I don't know why the insist of punting the ball to short wingers to try and control so close to the touch line. He needs to pass the ball out the back with confidence, not dither and avoid Soumare, who will just send it back no matter what.

You would like to think we have a good chance at controlling and winning the game, but are always a Soumare, Faes, JV brain freeze away from conceding.

For me, while it is good for the accounts, it's also one less good player in a team. Hopefully the keepers we have can improve so we don't have to shell out again or make do with an inadequate keeper if we get back to the Prem.

Another very good young player with plenty of growth we have to let go due to the donkeys at club.

Hopefully he stays and we get a better midfielder to replace Ndidi & Soumare. He need someone with half a brain and a good attitude behind him to carry the ball which will allow him to be in better positions further up the pitch, instead of dropping deep constantly.

But they are useless when they face attackers. They slow down and stink out the play too often. I hate watching JV on the ball, if he doesn't pass in 10 seconds to the open players ready to counter, you know he will hold onto the ball for way too long till he gets pressed, roll it back and put the keeper under pressure.

That was in the past , The problem is giving players that were good long inflated contracts their ability doesn’t deserve. He was good, when we had better players. He is now rubbish with rubbish players around him. We need better, could do with the funds and get him off the wage bill.

We can only support corporate sponsored and western government mandated empty platitudes and flag waving.

Utilise him as CDM as he can actually pass forwards and make a tackle unlike any other midfielder we have, that’s if Winks is allowed off the naughty step. Get Nelsen in to get up to speed with Okoli.

Fatigue has kicked in along with the cope that Soumare and Skipp will be alright at this level because they are the best we have. Nothing can convince me that Soumare will be anything but a passenger, doing as little as possible. The problem is people have to cover for him not doing the basics, that catches his partner in midfield out and catches the defence out. He should never have played for the club again after the Everton game where he ducked the header and then position himself behind the player. A lot of our problems come from zero press and awareness in midfield. That makes Bilal do more of the dirty boring work. Back to Nelson. Hopefully he can replace JV who again showed why he is useless. Pisses about and then puts others under pressure. A donkey who continually gets too high up the pitch but can’t run back. In him and VK, we have the weakest Dane’s to ever invade England.

The midfield is the main concern. They can’t defend and they can’t or even attempt to help the attack. Just like last season, and the previous relegation season.

Replace the bottle necks in Jannick, Hamza, Soumare & Ayew and there will be more flow in this team.

His hold up play will be useless if he doesn’t release the ball and play others in. He will just hog the ball and fall over.

That’s the disappointing thing. They keep replacing the shit managers and they waste games playing the same shit players.

Cooper threw Okoli under the bus by making him the point of passing out of defence over Faes. The Arsenal (irrc) game he was shocking. He would dither too much and back track, but that comes with experience and coaching, something we lacked last season. Both are our future at the moment. I remember Enzo saying he wanted Nelson to be braver with his passing, that shows he had faith in his ability. Okoli can focus on being solid and Nelson getting the ball out without 20 passes and hopefully ignoring JJ, Soumare and Ndidi.

Hopefully not the last to leave KP Donkey sanctuary. Soumare and Faes next to get rid of the most toxic and useless players, followed by Reid.

That’s more of a concern regarding the defence and keeper than him suddenly having ability.

If he does go, we have no other player who can pass the ball forward for Ayew to fall over on the halfway line.
