The heart of our midfield is the problem, toxic and useless isn’t a great combination whoever he plays. I know more about Ipswich because my mate supports them. They have a manager they all believe in. The players might not be the best all over the pitch but they put a shift in for the manager and each other.

Forgetting his off the field decisions and perceived personality traits, he’s just not very good at his job. He is a known known. One of many weak links and if he looks like a stand out player then the team is in a worse place than we thought.

The club is in the state it is for hanging onto dross like Hamza for too long.

Maybe the media team and can flood YouTube with heavily edited skill videos and hope a team has the same level of recruitment research as us.

I think his hold up play being useful if a cope/myth that gets rolled out too offen. He was poor with it last season and preseason he played the same. Falling over at the halfway line. He rarely looks to bring players into the game. Him and Daka need to be goal poaches and let people with a brain and ability deal the build ups An actual striker that will run with the ball, not trip himself up, not look to turn backwards and win a foul at every opportunity and can get a shot on goal. Maybe shouldn’t have gotten rid of Cannon.

I could look past his behaviour if he was a talent and he lifted us out of the muck every game but he’s shit. One of many donkeys that just needs another pre season/manager/loan/run in the team before he can start doing the basics, yet never seems to happen.

But a huge boost for them when Ayew, Ndidi, Soumare, Faes and Jannick start.

I want him to do well as he is an asset on our books but I can’t see it happening. He would’ve shown more ability by now if he had it. There first team has too many backup players playing by default. If he can float around holding to poach a goal then good but when he gets involved in the build up play he stinks it out, the same with Ayew. I can just about live with either starting as long as they goal hang and that’s it. Let Mav/Fat/Bilal/Monga ie the players with brains and ability worry about the build up. If Mav can get his confidence back to actually try and curl shots in rather than keep cutting back, that could force a loose ball in the area for Daka/Ayew to snatch at.

He’s good as tackling himself as well.

Exactly, this. It doesn’t matter where we play them. They are still a combination of shit and lazy, We need a CM with a brain and energy, also someone who can pass the ball quickly and get attacks going. Out of Hamza, Winks, Skipp, Ndidi and Soumare, I don’t trust any of them to do the basics let alone be the engine of the team. Who would’ve thought our wingers looked better running into space or at goal high up the pitch, rather than standing still on the halfway line hoping a cb actually passes the ball forward.

Faes and Jannik can’t help but piss around until the last second then offload the press to someone else and put them under pressure closer to the goal. I can’t stand to see another season of both of them have time to ping a ball or pass it out, only to do the fake pass and roll the ball back killing any chance of getting into space quickly.

He tends to drop too deep and gives away stupid fouls. He is also crap at running with the ball. I’ve never seen a striker trip over his own feet with only the keeper in front.

Good goal, they want to score as opposed to the donkeys who would’ve reset. Kasey can finish well when he has no time and reacts on instinct.

At least he did it in the box, not on the halfway line during a counter attack.

Another season of the Ayew turn back, block and dive.

Did he turn with the ball first time and drive forward finding an attacker with a good pass? Surely this is AI.

We are having PTSD of Cooper last season when he said it was for fitness. Then he carried it on when the season started.

Sadly is a 2/3m player at best now. I respect your view of him as we all see things differently. To me he didn’t offer much last season and it’s less and less over time. He is part of the negative football along with JJ. I just can’t see him doing anything other than passing backwards no matter what. He was useless when Cooper tried to player him as an ATM, he wasn’t great as a CDM as our midfield was non existent. Enzo drilled one thing into him well, that run into the box and cross at the back post for KDH to nod in. I would much rather your view of Ndidi be true than mine, I would glad to be proven wrong.

The manager has 30 games of material to analyse that they are both dog shit individually and together. Hopefully seeing them in the flesh will confirm it for him. If he plays them for more than 2 games back to back will confirm to me that he’s just as shit of a manager as the previous two donkeys.

Starting games without these members of the King Power donkey sanctuary will feel like we have new signings.

Barnes had Maddison & Youri, Bilal had Ayew, Reid and Soumare.

He gets so much abuse because he makes so many mistakes. I’ve never seen a forward trip over his own feet as often as Daka. It’s embarrassing. Man City when he skinned the defender and tripped over under no challenge.

We missed him so much, he seemed to lift the team with his energy. He is a far superior player to Mavadidi. It’s great to see a winger back himself with the ball and want to shoot. Mavadidi sabotages himself too often. He’ll skin a player but instead of taking advantage he checks back to do it again and kills the attack. When he passes quickly he’s a different player.

So Mavadidi is still greedy and for some reason won’t cross when he has the chance
