  1. King seems to be pushing them quite hard which is great to see.
  2. Discover some youth that we can afford, who wants to come here, who are good enough for the Championship that can progress to PL level and be sold for a healthy profit. Easy peasy! Obviously, that would be the ideal situation but you are completely minimising the practicality of it. Not to mention, there is no guarantee that, that player will fulfill any of that. Someone like Brownhill is a much safer bet right now. We KNOW he is good enough at this level. He might not be PL level but you are sat dead set in the middle of the desert worried about crossing bridges. Let's get out of THIS league first and worry about the next step when we get there. ...and Burnley DID offer him a new deal, according to pretty much any report out there.
  3. Even if we don't get him, @Samilktray inadvertently revealing that his source is Tommy Robinson has made this whole saga worth it for me.
  4. Thats the sort of person who only wants a manager that smells of Lynx Africa.
  5. Brownhill is a no-brainer depending on the contract. 15+ goal contributions from midfield in each of his last 2 championship seasons.
  6. He's not even going to be their #1.
  7. Finally! We can start the healng process.
  8. Jesus! Barry Bannan? Here I am trying to talk myself around to the idea of Josh Windass!
  9. And to put that into perspective, Rangers have never given a player more than 30k a week.
  10. I would be happy with all of these.
  11. I was looking through a list of this agencies clients and a name popped out... Caden Voice. Imagine the outrage on here if it was him!
  12. Striker is obviously the priority. Any money we have to spend needs to be spent here BUT if there is a spare £7-10m kicking around, Lennon Miller at Motherwell is the CM. The boy is going to be a star. The makings of an all round, complete midfielder. 77 first team games, full international and only 18.
  13. I like the ridiculously over the top horrific shirts. Those are the ones that you see in 10/20 years and think "now that's retro". Thats what 3rd kits should be for. Home = traditional Away = smart 3rd = absolutely ludicrous
  14. I just DO NOT understand this club! I could see the benefits of sacking him early. I could see the benefits of waiting until the new financial year. I just DO NOT see the benefits of waiting until the 27th of fuching June and sacking him! Yeah, some of you will say there must be reasons, we must have someone lined up etc and I envy you because you clearly still have faith in this bunch of moon-units that are running our club.
  15. Playing for 8 teams in 6 years is a bit of a red flag.
  16. It's going to be either.... Ruud Dyche O'Neil Carrick Wilder ...no one else will be considered and whoever it is will have Rudkin above them with KP above them. Even if the manager does well (which is a big IF given those names), nothing will change above them and more relegations and financial troubles will follow. It's hard to get excited about anything related to Leicester right now because the owners just don't seem to care and the people they've put in place to run the club don't know what they are doing and aren't being held accountable for their incompetence. We would all love to believe that things are going on in the background just now and at some point soon, it's all going to become apparent but if we are being honest with ourselves... we know that isn't true.
  17. The only difference between that and what we have already is that the dodgy geezers are Thai, not Russian.
  18. Definitely. He has turned the hall light on and fuched off on holiday without even putting the bins out.
  19. But if you look at the wingers he has signed for Everton and Burnley, he tends to favour left footed players on the left, right footed players on the right. Obviously there are a few exceptions but that seems to be a common trait as he looks for his wingers to be wingers and get crosses from wide which probably does rule out BEK on the left no idea think of it but I just don't see our current wide options being Dyche kind of wingers.
  20. Dyche doesn't like wingers who drive forward, take men on and cut inside. He likes defensive minded wide players who play safe balls and put in crosses. Mav and Abdul aren't Dyche type wingers. Mcateer is 100% a Dyche kinda winger. If Bilal does stay, where does he play under Dyche? He doesn't play that sort of CM or a no.10. I reckon he would end up on the left.
  21. Trying to imagine this current Leicester side under dyche. He'll definitely prefer some players over others. It'll be 442. Stolarcyck Justin. Coady. Souttar. Victor Mcateer. Winks. Skipp. Bilal Ayew. A NEW TARGET MAN ..... tell me that doesn't look like a Sean Dyche side. A back 4 that only looks too defend. Two wingers who don't go passed their man, just track back and whip in crosses. A defensive CM pairing who sit in front of the back 4 and a target man with someone like Ayew playing off him. I don't see him fancying players like Vesty, Faes, Ricardo, Mavididi, Fatawu, Monga, Alves or Daka.
  22. My biggest worry about Dyche is that our most promising and talented group of players are our wingers. Monga, Evans, Alves, Fatawu, Mavididi. What Dyche team has played with wingers who drive forward, cut inside and take on defenders? He tends to prefer the Dwight McNeil type who rely on defensive work, crosses and safe passes backwards. What happens to the development of all those players when the very thing that makes them exciting is coached out of them?
  23. You're assuming he will be on low wages AND it will only be a year contract... What is it about our business in the last 5/6 years that leads you to believe that will be the case?
  24. If this is true, all it means is Mads is definately off but we knew that anyway.
  25. I image Ruud would do better on there than in the dugout.
