I hope to god not!

It's the injuries. I agree he has never had that extended chance to show he can fulfil his potential but he may just be one of those players who's body will never allow him to. It's a chance I don't think we can afford to take right now.

I can totally see us signing Rhian Brewster on a free. Obviously, I don't want this to happen but...
-
So would big Zuu.

Stephy Mavididi (no real rumour, some clubs "interested.")
Scotch replied to Tuna's topic in Transfer Talk
I've always had mixed feelings on Stephy. Undoubtedly talented and exciting to watch but his decision making is so so poor. -
I'm more convinced than ever that Ruud will be kept on.

This is worse than relegation.

Played the majority of last season either as a striker or a secondary striker. We absolutely need someone like that.

I don't think it's a contract as such due to his age but something along the lines of him committing to signing a contract when he turns 17.

I can't help but wonder if this is out of necessity and we won't see much in the way of incoming as well as notable players leaving so the likes of Silko Thomas, Aluko. Cartright, Monga, Evans, Cover, Braybrooke are going to be massively relied on this season. -
At last I can get excited about the prospect of his ability! I wouldn't let myself get too attached when there was a very real possibility of losing him for nothing!

We ABSOLUTELY need a LB. VK and Thomas have both demonstrated during the majority of their time here that they are just not good enough. One will need to go with a better option coming in. My vote would be VK to go and Thomas to stay. All our RBs have shown that they can play LB at some point but more recently, JJ hasn't even shown that he can play RB never mind anything else and Ricardo can't stay fit enough to play football full-stop. LB would be one of my most immediate needs.

Would rather Josh Brownhill on a free.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Scotch replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Today is the day that we have officially been relegated. So you are saying that you believe relegation clause kick in the minute it's mathematically confirmed? So Southampton players got paid less in April? And yes, I believe teams who sack their manager straight away, prioritise getting a new manager in ASAP over the money they will lose. -

You said it WOULD be in his contract but you said the month we sacked him wouldn't make a difference to his pay out. This is the bit I'm disputing because depending on what month we sacked him dictates wether or not the relegation clause has kicked in. -

Ofcourse it will. The pay out won't be a set amount. It will be in direct relation to his wages and if his wages decrease following relegation then so will the pay out. -
I think as long as you don't have the John Rudkin edition of AI, it will be fine.
-
That they will run an internal investigation as to why we are being run into the ground, identifying who is responsible then ACTUALLY holding them responsible?! At this point it really doesn't matter who our manager will be. You don't put new curtains up when your house is on fire. You put the fire out. The people who are running our club are the fire and Top is too busy running around with a gerry-can of unleaded to give any indication that he plans on doing anything about it.

Your super computer is drunk.

I wonder if the boat has already sailed to sign Lennon Miller. Apparently would cost about 7m to sign, plenty of competition around Europe and a risk for an 18 year old but looks to have a very bright career and has already been in the Scotland squad at 18 in our strongest area of the pitch.
-
Whoever our manager is, they need to use the potential points deduction to their advantage. It's the perfect thing to create a siege mentality. Us against them. Everyone is out to get us, let's prove them wrong type of thing. This is the sort of thing that Pearson was brilliant at and we know first hand how effective it can be.

Zidane, Simeone, Kompany (kinda), Thiago Motta, Guardiola... Obviously I could go further back but that would be too easy. I assumed you meant recent players.
-
Ah.... now I see the issue. You still have faith in our owners!
-
You're telling me that a young, big name with experience managing in the UK who looks to play possession football isn't exactly the profile our owners look for?
-
I said it months ago and have become more and more convinced that it'll be Gerard.
