  1. I thi know Maresca showed first hand that it can work so people can see there are other options outside the usual gaggle of names that get bandied about.
  2. Hawd the bus! How is Cooper 4 years younger than Ruud? His paper route was all up hill and paid in Ciggies.
  3. There's a video on YT of him explaining his tactics. Pretty sure he likes using that high FB nonsense but whether he carries that over to us...
  4. I was under the same impression. Not sure where I saw it but I was under the belief that he will receive his full salary until he gets a job and they stop.
  5. I think it would have happened anyway, even with Cooper. He did mention that had the PSR judgment came sooner, the summer window may have been different.
  6. I think the new manager, whoever he is, will get a decent transfer budget in January.
  7. Apologies. I'll rephrase. "Didn't he leave because he didn't get on with the players and his coaches who went as far as going to the board to complain about him"
  8. That's not really the point I was making. Wether he was sacked or quit, the focus of my point was that many of the players and staff were reportedly not happy under him.
  9. Many reports suggest otherwise. Talk of at least 6 players and his assistant going to the board to complain about him.
  10. When was the last time we hired a manager with NO PL experience? KP don't play that game.
  11. Didn't he get the sack because he had a falling out with the players?
  12. I definitely think that sacking our manager first to get a jump on the pick of managers before Southampton/Ipswich etc has certainly played a part here.
  13. After yesterday, I suspected issues between him and winks. Skipp was stripped the minute Harry went down which suggested (to me anyway) he was carrying an injury or Cooper knew he just wanted off the pitch.
  14. Vesty and Ricardo tonight!
  15. It's one thing being expected to lose a game. It another to not even attempt to win it. He had no intention of trying to win that game yesterday, he just didn't want to lose and I don't care who we are playing, we should at the very least be trying to beat them.
  16. It'll be Moyes, RVN or Potter. I highly doubt we will be looking at anyone outside of those 3 men.
  17. Fine.... she's fcuking clueless too!
  18. People need to realise that Top either doesn't understand what he's looking at or doesn't care. He's happy to let Rudkin "run" the club for him and he DEFINITELY doesn't know what he's doing!
  19. That's plenty for me. No point in watching that.
  20. Getting ready to watch your team play shouldn't sound like your about to attend a pool part at Michael Barrymore's house.
  21. Inresting thought about the nations league. If Scotland win tonight, we stay in the top tier of the league but is that better? We aren't going to win the tournament so we can't qualify for the euros through it. However, if we lose and are relegated down, we then open up another path of qualification outside the qualification groups, against teams we have a better chance of beating. The last two tournaments, we've benefited from the nations league. We qualified directly through it and last time, we had the safety net of playoffs if we needed it. There IS a benefit for teams like us in the lower groups but none in the top tier so it begs the question, why would we want to win tonight?
  22. I've got two frames beside my bed. One is a congratulations letter my wife got me from the club for our wedding, signed by the squad and one is a sheet with all our fixtures/results, squad, stats and final league table of our PL winning season that my wife gave me on our first anniversary.
  23. Hermansen Faes Kante Winks Vardy
  24. Until they change their relationship status, I wouldn't get too excited.
  25. Vardy and Vichai are the only two I can settle on. The other two would be between O'Neil, Pearson, Ranieri, Walsh, Lineker, Andy King and Kasper.
