You made a comment completely unacceptable to somebody, whether that was being used as a dig at someone else (I don't doubt that) or not it was still unacceptable to do that and insulting to the community of one of Britain's most peaceful religions. You owe him an apology. As I say, educate yourself about the religions of Asia, they aren't "all the same" as you seem to think.

Apology accepted, it was pretty wrong to make a statement about terrrorism to a Sikh, they have done nothing to warrant that as a community. Some people even in 2016 still seem to class all Asians as the same and aren't educated about the vast difference in religions on the sub-continent.
