My worry is we won’t play like this in the second half. Or the next game. When we keep putting this much pressure on the opposition and attack at speed we can beat anyone! Just wish we did it every game. Who knows if we did we might win something ....

This is why Puel wants his attacking fullbacks though. Chillwell and Amartey may not be defensively as good as Fuchs and Simpson but look more comfortable going forward.

Great start. Let’s hope we keep up this intensity and attacking spirit - even if we go a goal up! My one concern with the way we have played of late is how we don’t appear to keep this kind of play up after we take the lead. We should be looking to kill games off.

Those people moaning over the number of changes we made for this game need to also think how they would have reacted if a first 11 player got injured against Fleetwood? And when are the fringe players supposed to get a game if not games like this? What would the reaction be like if a player gets an injury against Chelsea and we’ve not given game time to anyone outside the usual staring 11? It’s also kind of nice to think Vardy might actually get a cameo appearance in this fixture after all.

I actually thought about this but Riyad is in form at the moment and I don’t think we can leave him out. I’m a huge Shinji fan but might be tempted to swap him for Mahrez if we do play 3-5-1-1

Won’t be this but here’s what I might be tempted to try ... hoping to give us more clout in midfield especially with Ndidi’s absence Kasper Dragovic Maguire Morgan Mahrez King Amartey Iborra Chillwell Shinji Vardy Bit harsh on Gray and couldn’t work out how to include Albrighton either without leaving out Mahrez but those two aren’t bad options to bring on as subs if things aren’t working. Dragovic could also be swapped with Fuchs. Would just have to hope Amartey plays better than he has done and King has one of his better games too.

Hoping I am still asleep and this was a horrible nightmare. Either that or we were actually playing in white today ... Hoping Puel makes it clear to the players this type of performance won’t be happening again! Losing Wilf next game is going to be hard to take. Shinji will need to start so we don’t lose too much of our midfield bite.

Can we clone Shinji and sub him with everyone at half time?
