To be fair, at first Rodgers did well. March may be the best of the options open to us. We are not going to attract a top manager at the moment.
-
Yes, but in 2023 MON is Sub-Prime.
-
Mendy was a key part of the team that won the AFCON.
-
What did we learn? Vardy is past it Souter can't play a high line Maddison is wasted as a winger Ndidi and Mendy don't work in midfield KDH over rated as a local boy. None of this news... Iverson and Barnes did well.
-
The only thing that cheers me up is talking to a mate who is an Everton fan. He is sure they are going down.
-
Sad but true. We made Villa look good, much better passing and movement off the ball. 50/50 at best to stay up, and that only because the rest of the bottom are shite too.
-
Mends can do a good pass, I would be happy if he plays further forward.
-
He has been poor all season. Maybe its Rodgers killing his game, or maybe he is just running out of steam.
-
No Nacho? I don't like the look of this at all.
-
Penetrative attacks too, but ultimately the defence wasn't good enough.

Brendan Rodgers appreciation thread
foxinsox replied to The whole world smiles's topic in Leicester City Forum
Sure, the FA Cup and Community Shield were successes that we should thank Brendan for, but the last two seasons in Europe we were not competitive. Some decent matches, and I enjoyed the novelty but there were quite a few poor performances too. -
If we lose the next two games, who would want to start with Man City Away? Then just 7 games to save the season. Top left it too late, by about a year.
-
Big Nige did some time there as I vaguely remember.
-
Relegation or stay up, we need someone who can do a rebuild. I think the owners at Chelsea are bonkers in their buying policy. Potter must have been pulling his hair out at their interference.
-
I would accept him going to Spurs... (Actually, they could do worse. Rodgers is like many managers, good for a season or two, then needs to move on. If he stays it all becomes too petty and predictable)
-
Let's have the clap banners back until the end of the season. Didn't they start last great escape?
-
In that case why wasn't he sacked in September? 10 games to save the season.🙏
-
How spineless we are reminds me more of when we were relegated from the Championship. In previous PL relegation we showed some fight. It will be a few years before we are backck.
-
It's been obvious all season. Brendan has a great spin doctor, but reality is too strong. You can sprinkle a turd with glitter, but it is still a turd.
-
Been saying that for 6 months....
-
When was the last "boringly predictable goalscorer" for Leicester City? I wouldn't count Vardy, as he is neither boring nor predictable. Do we have to go back to Arthur Rowley? Oh, we could do with him now!
-
What's worrying too is that Rodgers teams always fade at the end of the season. Not what you want in a relegation scrap. We have several 6 pointers in the remaining fixtures, starting this Saturday.

England U21s vs France U21s - King Power Stadium

Not too bad at SK4.I got there early expecting a long queue, but only about 30 in the line at 1630, so plenty of time for a beer. -
England U21s vs France U21s - King Power Stadium
foxinsox replied to HybridFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yes, France missed some sitters in the first half. I was in SK4 so had a great view of the misses and the 4 England goals. Indeed, we could do a lot worse than poach Lee Carsley based on that performance. He understood what to change at half time, and it worked. -
If we don't go down this year, I think it near certain next year. It will be too big of rebuild with those players gone, particularly with Rogers in charge.
