Joseph looked good at the end of the first half, Doyle looked OK too. Otherwise a pretty awful set of performances, mostly because of Martin and his one dimensional game plan, woeful game management and poor substitutions. Shocking overall, and if we don't get rid of Martin by the end of the month some of these players will be permenantly ruined.

That RL interview should be a cause for sacking on its own. Total denial and delusion as to where the fault really lies.

What a load of rubbish. Predictable, and predictably bad, really poor game management by Martin. He needs sacking before he contaminates the youngsters any more.

I think Bristic will come good. His movement off the ball created space for others and we were a worse team without him. Burns did a shift too, but Cullen less so. The youngsters made plenty of errors, with Braybrookes long passes going astray, and they look a little liggtweight against such a physical side, but there is real talent there and him, Page, Alves and McFarland having plenty of talent. Quick counter attack is the way we will score, and passing it around the back under pressure is how we will concede.

On a positive note, there were some reasonable performances. Once we sack the manager and go for a more aggressive, positive game plan we may well start to win again.

He walked off without help. Looked like a thigh strain of some sort to me.

The kids deserved a clap. They made an effort. Okoli disappeared and Souter lingered at the back during the walkabout. McCarthy was poor, but Okoli was shocking, and Souttar slower than a sedated sloth. Why put him as a target man then not boot it long to him? It made no sense. No way are we being promoted, and relegation is possible. Need a striker and 2 centrebacks, but most of all a manager who isn't a total numpty. Sacked by Halloween, hopefully.

A good season would be promotion. That would obviously mean winning lots of games, and it is always nicer watching a winning team. It would also mean good performances by players, and clearly those are mostly going to be youngsters or new signings. Will it happen? Maybe.

The other player I will never forget was Kante in that side. Best DM ever. Ranieri made that team click, at least for one magic year. Les Ferdinand was pure class too, even though could only manage 20 minute cameos.
