  1. He will get a couple more months regardless I think. The owners will give him a fair shake. We need to win a couple of the next 5 at the very least. I just get the impression that the owners ambitions have changed short term. I think they’d be quite happy just staying up for the next few seasons. I agree that he isn’t the right man to turn us into a top 8 club.
  2. I agree. you have to admire Southampton. Constantly getting their players and their managers nicked off them yet they always seem to have a back up plan and always try to play football. I don’t really have too much confidence in Shakespeare I think the honeymoon period is over but it would be very harsh to get rid after that run of games.
  3. Well he kept us up last season and we’ve currently played 5 league games this season 4 of which we’ve lost to teams with vastly more resources than us. how are we likely to find out if he’s good enough if we don’t give him a fair chance? What would have been the point of hiring him in the first place? if we are in the same position after the next few games I will start to worry.
  4. Too early to tell. Let’s see how he gets on in the next 5-6 games. Though it is quite possible he could be gone by Christmas. The owners won’t **** about if we are in or hovering just above the relegation zone.
  5. Golovkins jab won him the fight. It's pretty much a power punch.
  6. Yea it could definitely sell that. I don't see how Bellew handles Hayes power. First flush shot from Haye puts him down IMO.
  7. No I don't think Hearn cares about his fighters. He put Brook in with GGG knowing what was going to happen. Brooks career could have potentially been ended if that fight went on any longer. It was stupidly irresponsible from Hearn. I don't think Hearn wants Joshua fighting Haye anytime soon personally. The Joshua hype train is in full flow and he don't want a dangerous fighter like Haye ending it before Joshua's had 20 fights.
  8. Read a great point earlier saying Hearn is just basically using Bellew as cannon fodder to see what Haye has still got left. If he gets Bellew out of there in a couple he isn't letting him near Joshua.
  9. So Thurman-Garcia this weekend as well. Should be a great fight. I think Garcia will edge it. Can't wait for GGG-Jacobs as well.
  10. Haye has admitted Bellew has got under his skin. Not sure if that's good or bad news for Bellew.
  11. This is purely about the money for both of them. I hate fights like this just like I hated Alvarez-Khan and Golovkin-Brook. There are weight divisions for a reason. Plenty of great fights Haye and Bellew could have made in their own divisions. i expect Haye to knock him out within 4 rounds.
  12. Great player.
  13. Khan can't avoid Manny for 12 rounds. His output has decreased from a few years back but he'll still bring too much pressure for Khan. And he can still punch. I think he put Bradley down if I remember.
  14. I like Khan but I'm just nervous watching him knowing any shot really could put him down. Pacquiao is still a top welterweight. He's beaten Timothy Bradley recently and Vargas. Cant see Khan winning this.
  15. He's class. Makes things happen. Exactly what we need in our current situation.
  16. Exactly!
  17. Hi everyone. We've been on a horrendous run but thankfully we found a way today. Been a fan since I was a young kid and me Grandad used to take me down Filbert Street.
