And what happens when the next guy can’t get us in the top 6 either? Get rid of him as well? Fact is Rogers has WON things at this club and got us two of our highest finishes in the Premier League. He deserves more respect than people calling him a fraud. Finishing in the top 6 is going to very difficult no matter what manager we have. I think it’s disgusting how he gets treated by some people on here actually throwing their toys out the pram cos we’re not competing for the champions league this season.

People need to offer a solution for a replacement manager then who is better and who we can get. This guy won us the FA cup and led us to two top 6 finishes. When we were going for champions league the same posters calling him a fraud now were probably calling him a genius then. People need to calm down. He goes on a good run at the start of next season playing some good stuff people will be straight back up his arse again.

He gave us a decision occasionally to try to make it not seem so blatant. Like a couple of the decisions he actually gave us were incorrect anyway. I know we were bad anyway but referring like that needs to be reviewed after the game.

Ref has made it very clear he isn’t going to give us anything. But I expect a much better second half from us.

I don’t blame them tbh. They just tread water every season. The style of play never improves. Are their fans just sposed to be eternally grateful for just staying up? Are they not allowed to strive to improve as a club? Even if he managed to keep them up this season they’d have gone down eventually with him anyway. I don’t really see the point of sacking him now. Who are we going to get that is better? I still think he’s got enough money in the bank from the past two seasons to see out the rest of this season. I don’t think we’re in any danger of being dragged into a relegation battle. Let’s just get to 40 points and write it off as a bad season.

Let’s be honest Ole would have been sacked about 5 times over at any other club. And deservedly so. It’s amazing how far being an ex player who scored an important goal can get you. Obviously I can see the allure of going to United but he’s on a hiding to nothing if he goes there. That club is a bit of a shambles atm. He probably fancies himself to be the guy that goes in and changes their fortunes though.

Not really. I’m just being realistic about England’s chances. I’m not moaning I’m just being honest about the quality of our team. I’ve watched both teams and Germany play much better football than us. It’s just what I see. I’d love England to win the tournament and I’ll be supporting them. Everyone is down playing Germany like their some poor team. They always turn up in tournaments in big games.

Not sure why that statement was so funny. Germany are actually still capable of putting consistent attacks together of quality. England pass the ball round the defence and back to the goal keeper endlessly. We play two defensive midfielders who’s first thought is to pass it backwards. Southgate will try and get a goal and then cling on for dear life. That’s how I see it panning out but I’m happy to be proved wrong and I hope I am proved wrong. Theres been about 3 20 minute spells where we’ve looked half decent in this tournament.

I’d be very surprised if we beat Germany. If they turn up like they did against Portugal we are in for a rough time. They might not be as good as they were but they are still a better side than England. I hope England surprise me for a change and actually manage to beat a good side in a knockout game of a competition. When was the last time we did that?
