I can imagine it quite easily ... Can you ??
-
It's a huge NO for me. Signing 31 year old players who are past their prime is not path forward for a club looking to build. Does Mavididi sit while this guy starts ??
-
As Ralph Rangnick so famously said either everyone presses or no-one presses.

Yes .. You are right !! Quite an amazing season when three larger clubs ... two of them established got relegated. I stand by my opinion that the gulf between the two leagues is massive though & view that season as an aberration.
-
He picks the team but not the transfers
-
We don't know & possibly will never know who are Coopers picks & who are Rudkins. !! I'm sure that Cooper would know he needs attacking mids & strikers. Bloster = To Confuse & Distract.
-
As we saw last season with all three promoted clubs getting relegated, the gap between the Premier & the Championship is huge. Players who look great in the Champ can't cut it in the Prem. We are desperate for attacking mids & with strikers like Daka & Cannon & past his prime Vardy, Cooper needs an influx of talent.
-
He has inherited players that are not Premier League quality ( Choudhury, Soumare, Daka etc ) but the club is slow to bring in players & even slower to ship players out. I am confident Cooper can do the job if Rudkin can bring in players & get rid of the ones who are not good enough. I assume we are stuck with Daka now that he's injured.

That would upset me. Players like Mavididi & Fatawu are our future.

The Scotch League is awesome .. it's the Scottish League that is shit.
-
I certainly am. A big fish in a little pool.

I would say that the Scottish Premiership is on par with League One. It's very hard to judge just how good Matt O'Riley is based on his Celtic performance. I have watched him a few times & he looks extremely good but it's hard to factor in with the poor opposition.
-
I feel that our immediate need is an attacking mid & a striker. Skipp is extremely average & really doesn't make us better.
-
I actually thought that attacking midfielder was one of our biggest priorities followed by striker.
-
Everything is relative & 20 mil isn't a big deal any more.

With the money we have to spend "a bit raw" is probably the best value for us. Clubs like Leicester have to buy young, raw & cheap & sell on as they mature.
-
I would not be very keen at all.
-
We will survive !! It will be a struggle but I trust Cooper to keep us safe from relegation. He will need a few more incoming but I trust him to do a job.
-
Are you 12 years old ? Making up derogatory names for our manager is a childish act. Support our club and its manager through what could be one our most difficult seasons and treat our manager with respect.

With 2 to 3 good signings I don't think we will be playing Championship football. The incentive for a player like Hatate is that he would get lots of minutes at Leicester while showcasing himself in the Premier league. I think we will be OK defensively but we need two attacking mids & that rarest of commodities. .... A Striker !!!

It's all a bit of a catch 22 scenario. We cant afford to make a panic buy & crazy as it may seem, LCFC is not a preferred location for a lot of players. We are probably going to get some kind of points deduction as well as the possibility of a relegation battle. Hard to sell that to a player !! The other part of the problem is that we need to move some of our existing players as .well. I don't want to see another Daka deal fall through on deadline day
-
He was a player that I really wanted Leicester to pursue . He appears to be exactly what we need & if we had the money for Soule surely we can afford O'Riley.
-
Oh yes it is .

A better game might be " Who do you think are "

Football players have a very short career & have do what's best for them. He wanted to play for his country & recognized that as a conventional fullback he would get very little playing time for a manager who doesn't use fullbacks. If you can't see that you know little about pro football.
