If you're part ex is owned outright, with that lump sum to put in, you could consider a PCP on something new. Take advantage of list price discount and manufacturers finance deposit contribution. That'd probably be worth around 5k to you. Monthly payments would be low. Or, if you wanted to own outright more easily, the balloon payment could be manipulated down to £1000, so your monthly payments are higher, but at the end of the term, your option to buy figure is just 1k. Decent APR on EV finance too. Nissan offering 3.49% I think at the minute. Do consider the depreciation value though. But it is a way of getting more for your money. A £19000 deposit on an almost top spec Ariya with a 320 mile range would be just over £100 a month

Is yours the 1.4 or the 1.6? Don't quote me on it, but I believe only the 1.6 had an AdBlue tank. That might change after the 2015/16 face-lift. They also did some engine upgrades around 2014, certainly on the petrol, maybe the diesel as well, so it's possible you've got a late registration of the older car. How long have you had the car and how many miles have you done? There should be a warning light if it needs refilling.

Bit of a weird one... Anyone ever had full jaw tooth implants or veneers or any major work done to fix their teeth? I've always hated my teeth, they're awful, I never smile for photos and I'm quite paranoid about them, although I'm probably making it sound worse than they are. I broke a tooth the other day and it's basically gone. I think the time is right to finally fix my smile. I'm looking for places to get a consultation, but it seems like a complete minefield. Looks to be about 18k for a complete set of implants, something that I genuinely would consider. Just after a bit of advice if anyone else has done something similar. No, I'm not considering Turkey and no, I'm not asking for teeth as bright as Rylan

We're talking about the same people that employed Southgate.

Just looking at what we've got, it's really the Leaf. It's even cheaper than a Renault Zoe. I'll keep an eye out for anything else.
-
Just checked our website and we've got a top spec 19 plate Leaf with 6500 miles on the clock...12k
-
A Leaf would certainly fit the bill. Looking around 13k for a good spec around 3 years old with below average mileage. I can certainly have a look what else we have in group stock that includes other manufacturers. Give us a shout when you're ready.

Steve Williams, Tiger's former caddie, was the highest earning sportsman in New Zealand when they were together. In 2007, Tiger's highest earning year, his caddie would've been top 20 on the PGA money list

I'd have done it for £16950...with mats

I mean, you were meant to buy it from me, but you're welcome, I guess What did you get and where from?

Pro tip: Always take a picture of your V5, that 11 digit number comes in handy.

Should be about what you're looking at then if both are saying the same. I'd definitely edge towards Motorway, I believe you can put a reserve on it, so maybe £3800 would be a good idea, you can always accept the highest offer under the reserve. Nobody will be that fussed about having to refurb the alloys, it's commonplace and cheap to do.

Out of interest, has anyone ever had a new car quote from Carwow and actually managed to get that deal? There's a particular Nissan dealer in the West Midlands (plus others around the country) that quote ridiculously low prices, like 18% off the list price of a new car, which means they're losing a significant amount of money. I posed as a customer and they offered me the same deal. When I called up to confirm, they said they couldn't get anywhere near that and what was the quote reference. They then told me it must be wrong! Plus, they didn't even have the cars. I've had numerous customers call me up and ask if I can match it. So I ask them to phone the garage to confirm and ask when they can collect the car. Then I tell the customer to call me back and I'll beat their real quote and tell them what colours I've got them in for immediate delivery I don't know how they get away with it.

They mainly use the same valuing tool, but will use different price ranges in that. Average, Clean, Trade, Retail...
-
Yeah, I was preparing to talk about Get Your Own Back with Dave Benson Phillips.
-
I'd steer clear! Got a mate who works there, but also personally know a few people who've bought from them. All horror stories, including my stepdaughters car!
-
Depends what you're trading in. If the garage you're buying from will retail your old car, they'll probably pay you a decent price for it. They'll make their money by selling it. If they won't retail it, as others have said, Motorway are pretty decent. You'll always get more by selling it privately, but can you be bothered to do that? If you do go down that route, give me a shout and I'll send you an HPI check to show your car is clear of everything. What are you buying? Edit...to get a good idea what you should get for it, the WBAC website usually quote pretty accurate. You won't get that from them, but it's a good estimating tool.

I'm definitely using that at work today

@StanSP @davieG and @fazzyfox must be the happiest?

I certainly can't be accused of fixing anything when I end up with Hungary
