  1. As @CosbehFox points out though, if Bounanotte plays RW the team really need to be better equipped at protecting the right side of defence. i know last season we'd invert the full back from the right but we had Fatawu who could run the defensive side of the entire flank on his own against most teams we faced. It was suspect on occasion but at this level we won't ever have that luxury.
  2. Sorry missed that bit, I originally read that as players not staff.
  3. Shame nobody asked him about coaching staff
  4. I get that on Winks, there's question marks. However, his pedigree and technical ability should be drawn upon by any respectable coach and he is good enough.
  5. Mind bending team selection from Dawson. Up there with the tactics and personnel that Sadler and Stowell picked
  6. Left footed CB: Nathan Zeze LB: Sergio Reguilón (nominal fee) Harry Amass (on loan - send Edouard back) RB: Josip Juranovic (loan) CM: Salvatore Esposito (don't know how many times I have to suggest him) LW: Louie Barry Ibrahim Maza RW: Calvin Stengs (on loan option to buy) ST: Yuri Alberto Franculino
  7. I carved the squad up in to the following: More than good enough: Vardy Hermansen Winks Bounanotte Fatawu (sadly injured) Ricardo (sadly injured) Ayew The potential to be good enough: Mavididi Skipp El Khannouss Kristiansen Okoli Stolarczyk Nelson (when fit) Unsure: Ndidi Vestergaard Soumare Daka McAteer Alves Edouard Not good enough: Faes Justin Coady Choudhury Thomas Reid Ward It's going to take some high calibre work to compliment those that are already capable with those with potential and/or somehow getting every ounce of ability out of those who appear to have run their course at Leicester. We watch on with interest. I've a feeling we'll see a few good results early on.
  8. Harrogate away
  9. I still believe in a chunk of this squad. It looks bleak right now with the added injuries to a crucial player like Fatawu + a few others but I think we can get to 35-40 points.
  10. The overwhelming thing i hear from players and coaches is RvN is very good at improving players. That's a massive positive. Really hope he can get some semblance of sanity from this club to build something here.
  11. Skipp has the ability to do that but we don't play him.
  12. Hermansen Justin Faes Vestergaard Kristiansen Skipp Ndidi Bounanotte El Khannouss Mavididi Vardy
  13. That's class pal, I'm 41 and I've had only x 2 5km runs below 23 mins this year. Smashing it mate.
  14. I like 3-4-2-1 but surely that's El Khannouss and Bounanotte together. Suppose that can happen off the bench. Thomas in is a brave call 😂
  15. Championed Enzo and Mavididi too so I've broken the curse. I'm very good with managers, identified Slot in 2019 and knew Alonso was going to be the bollocks. I'M BACK
  16. Can't stop looking at pictures and videos of him.
  17. That didn't go well, listened to my body and pulled the plug at 5 miles. Felt something go.
  18. Just heading out now for a 10 miler
  19. And Ruud helped serve a few excellent players through the academy and reserve team.
  20. I'd counter the PSV improved after he left bit with the fact his successor benefitted from being able to spend a chunk of the funds they got from selling Madueke and Gakpo, as well as inheriting Bakayoko who's had a year developing under Ruud to kick on in his 2nd season. They were bang in the mix for the title until those mid season sales.
  21. Based on graphic design alone, I can smell the suaveness from here.
  22. Suppose the only difference was Percy has said its Ruud, where as in the summer everyone else was saying it was Potter and then he broke it was going to be Cooper.
