Yes that's what I think which is bizarre he's suddenly come to that conclusion after he scored two in two and changed both games. He can still play 7 times for us before the suppose obligation. Anyway if Enzo's made his mind up, get Alves on the bench instead.
-
If we cannot afford £8m over 5 years for FFP then something is seriously wrong and we're in trouble if we go back up. We get £5m for winning the Championship FYI.
-
Think he'll get his chance vs Bournemouth and then hopefully take it from there.
-
I'm talking more about winning the league than promotion itself. The next 6 games to be navigated without major disaster and we're dancing.
-
Yeah it's nowhere near done yet. Leeds need stopping.
-
Thought we'd made a breakthrough when he moved him centrally, but shows our lack of wide options means he's the back up, need Albrighton back ASAP.

Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 Post Match Thread

Liquid 1st half. Very mediocre 2nd half but it happens, no major concerns. -
Really poor tonight, Enzo was constantly telling him to go down the line and he wouldn't. Just stop picking him. Hopefully Alves takes his sub spot soon.
-
We've had more than 8 shots that half surely? Very good performance. The ref is heinous. KDH, Mavididi and Praet are playing brilliantly.
-
Mad to say it but Vardy very much needs to prove himself tonight that he's still at the level to start games for us. He was unlucky not to get awarded 2 on his last start in the cup vs Birmingham as he was onside and then he's got a brace vs Stoke so there's bits of form there. Let's see what he can do, I shan't be writing him off. Every goal we get from him now is just a huge privilege to see, but there's little room for sentiment.
-
10 bookings doesn't incur a 2 match ban though after 37 games, but 15 would be a 3 game ban if he then racked up 6 more in that time.
-
The slate is wiped clean again after game 37.
-
Yesh I'm not fussed but Enzo rates him, I'm keen to see him as an 8 again and see if he's better than out wide.
-
Said earlier in the week that it was unlikely as one of Yunus or McAteer would have had to drop out without injuries.
-
Not that I recall?
-
Going to miss Daka's pressing IMO. But time for Vardy to score against his boyhood club.
-
If we fail to beat them home or away we've had a howler.
-
Mavididi brace
-
He may also be cautious of how poor we were vs them before Christmas where he'd made several changes. I'd not play Vardy, if Daka needs a rest then start Cannon.
-
Birmingham had 25 shots against them on Friday, extraordinary.

Who do you want for next season in the PL

Weird he only signed a 1 year contract when he left Frankfurt. -
Selling Gyokores and Hamer last summer has enabled them to step up their succession planning, previously players were only signed on 3 year deals which makes what you raise above very true, they seem now to have more flexibility to secure players for longer and be able to build.
-
Yeah very much like Bournemouth, Brentford and Brighton you can see the progression and it does seem to be inevitable.
-
Man City play with two up front, or at least Alvarez just behind Haaland
-
This pleased me as much as Ricardo's goal. The difference in intensity of Daka compared to what wr got with Iheanacho leading the press or closing down is night and day. It's given our way of playing a huge boost.
