  1. It's certainly a strange one.
  2. Yeah agreed. If the club are desperate for money, it would be bizarre to prioritise moving on a player such as Daka which at best will be a loan with an option to buy and let Ndidi, Iheanacho and Praet run their contracts down.
  3. If so, then it's a risky move by Enzo. If Daka scores again tomorrow and then gets dropped on Monday he'll cause unnecessary pressure on his decision making. I honestly don't see why Daka is down the pecking order. Enzo has proven with Coady that performances dictate being picked on merit and Conor is missing out through no fault of his own. I'd hope Daka is given a few more games and not continue a preconceived idea on him.
  4. Thomas looks very strong and quick. I think he needs a loan unless there's a genuine chance he could challenge Mavididi for a spot at LW.
  5. Good to see Briggs scoring. Got high hopes for this lad. Thomas has done well so far too, hopefully gets a loan next month.
  6. Percy said he was a month away but he also said Wormleighton was a month away on the night he'd picked him to play vs Wolves, so I'm not sure if Petty's that abreast of things.
  7. I think I have to agree with that now, it's the end of the road on the balance of everything.
  8. Genuinely think this is Enzo's hardest managerial decision to date. I never wish injury or unavailability on a player but it would make the decision easier for him if one of Vardy or Iheanacho were injured for several weeks. Cannon needs minutes too, we don't want to be going in to January where he hasn't played much. I'd sit Iheanacho out for a few games now from the squad, regardless of whether he's available again soon.
  9. There's definitely a place for him in this team/squad for the rest of the season. I'd make him 1st choice through until January and see what he does.
  10. Yeah, I'd be keeping him away where necessary. He's pretty much ready to challenge the 1st team now IMO.
  11. It was Monday last week wasn't it? Or did he play in a behind closed doors friendly too?
  12. No. Options and obligations sit with the buying club only. i.e us
  13. Daka to score again and Enzo will be in turmoil 😂
  14. It's even better than that, the obligation/option is €17m, so about £14m.
  15. Yeah sadly the one who repeatedly said we'd sign Rachid Ghezzal whilst barely any other outlet covered it.
  16. That's astonishing. Can't even name who plays up front for them actually haha.
  17. Ipswich also lose Burgess and Luongo to the Asian Cup.
  18. This week's podcast is brought to you by Patson Daka Deliveries. Dave Bevan - co-founder of TheFosseway and Challsy from @Union FS joined us to discuss the game, the atmosphere and 10 years of UnionFS. Spot on.
  19. Reminds me very much of Ndidi in the 8 role.
  20. Interesting player. Still very raw but a very athletic box to box midfielder that would be back up to Ndidi. His contract is up in the summer too.
  21. Just finished recording it. Up soon
  22. Justin's 1 v 1 defending and pace has bailed us out a lot. What we lose in Doyle's qualities, we have gained in Justin's. Both have a role to play in us getting promoted.
  23. This is the dilemma. We are better defensively with Justin in IMO but building attacks from the back requires a left footer such as Doyle.
  24. There's a few behind the scenes at Sunderland that were influential in him and Jude's development at Birmingham City. Not many other Championship clubs stood a chance in getting him.
  25. Harry Souttar and Conor Coady are bother better than him.
