Realistic Managerial Replacements
Ric Flair replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
I reckon we'd go for Carlos Carvahal -
Would you want us to be relegated to L1?
Ric Flair replied to Collymore's topic in Leicester City Forum
That's because nothing will change, our owner is still here. Whatever it takes for new ownership is the risk we need to take, otherwise at best it's more of the same and at worst it's as bad as anything we've ever experienced, if not worse. -
Got to hope and pray Ben Nelson is back for this.

If that was the only way we'd get new owners then as sad as that may seem, 100% yes. -
Not a chance he stays if Derby beat us, and they will.

This bum waited until the 80th minute to bring Jeremy Monga on yesterday. It is quite possibly the biggest myth ever peddled that Cifuentes develops academy players. Disgrace.
-
He's right up there with Megson

Derby will finish it for him. We'll lose 4-1

The Running Thread (formerly How fast can you run a 5k?)
Ric Flair replied to Sly's topic in General Chat
I'm not sure it is that now, its on the lateral part of the edge of my foot rather than heel. It's seemingly changing. It start with the worst sore calves, although the other one presented no pain in that foot as well. Been stretching and rolling calves all week and mild improvement and the foot pain has subsequently changed. Will see what the physio says on Tues. May try a short run/walk tomorrow to test what happens. -

I am fcuked. Got the physio on Tuesday to work out what is causing this foot pain. Not ideal this. -

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR
Ric Flair replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Unless we get new owners willing to invest significant capital as League 1 and 2 are not bound to the same rules as the Championship. Birmingham pumped massive funds in last season. The issue we have is that it'll probably take administration for our owner to leave and that is not conducive with immediate prosperity under a new regime. I'd still take that though to see a new era as I see absolutely no future under Aiyawatt any longer, sad as that maybe. -

Yes as you'd possibly get them cheaper than a month later. -

What is find odd is the lack of player sales in June but no money available in January or to sack RvN. Either we breach 24/25 by a significant amount that was not achievable to come within and its better to raise player sales in 25/26 to try and prevent a breach for this year or there were funds available last year? It makes me somewhat nervous. -

It's the drop from £105m 3 year losses to £61m that is the issue. We'd likely need the full £105m to have not breached 24/25 (rather than £83m) but then that's a much bigger drop. -

They play two up front and have 4 very capable strikers so our calamity defence will face a world of trouble and not react. -

Don't recall Mandaric's technique of launching cuddly bears in to grown men's arms as accurate as Aiyawatt's is. Privileged to have watched that, we do things differently here. Family club. -

It's a rights of passage. Clap the lads/NHS, queue properly and put the bins out are our three non-negotiables in this country. -
My prediction is that when Cifuentes invariably gets the boot. King will get the gig for the rest of the season and he brings Bruno Berner in alongside him as we move in to the Frank Burrows and Gerry Taggart phase of our panic.

I think we run close to breaches for 24/25, 25/26 and every future year until we go bust. -
Don't be surprised to see us employ someone from another club who has to serve a notice period of the rest of the season.
-
Are QPR doing better this season than they did under Cifuentes? I know they had a big unbeaten run at some point last season.
-
Not enough noise for it to be that sudden. A defeat to Derby, after losing to Sheffield Utd will put him on the brink and then the quick turnaround will probably mean he gets Bristol City who'll dispatch us and they'll panic. It'll come a point that they'll have to make a decision to convince a new manager if required before the points deduction is announced, if we get one.
